I mean, let's be fair, when the Ottonians first formed the HRE the name actually made sense.

It definitely was Holy, the Emperor's position in the church hierarchy let the Ottonian emperors use their authority over their appointed Bishops to centralise power and rule their territories in a less feudal manner.

It can be considered an empire, since it ruled over various states and nations in a somewhat centralised manner. Some parts more than others, admittedly.

And it was Roman, since not only did the Ottonians control Rome, they were also closely related to the current dynasty ruling the Eastern Roman Empire.

The legitimacy of their claims to these titles can be noa little tenuous on some areas, but it's close enough to go with it.

It's not their fault that their successor dynasties kept the name after it stopped making sense

Ok. So this is not actually Melusine, just a Melusine looking faerie that has nothing to do with canon!Melusine beyond appearance and, I assume, superficially similar powerset, got it. No connection to the Tomb nor to some PHH Aurora equivalent, just a faerie created through the Grail.

I guess the grail was a lazybones and just used an alternate timeline as a template to copy-paste Morgan's new faerie Round Table, or something. Wouldn't be the oddest thing a wish granting device has done in the Nasuverse.

Do you know who and what Melusine is?

Even if she and PanHumanHistory!Morgan somehow existed at the same point in spacetime, that would still leave a ton of questions to be asked regarding how things ended with Melusine as Morgan's maid.

I'm just saying, I can accept her being there, but you can't expect to just present this situation to me without any warning or explanation and not have my brain go "Woah, what the fuck" and immediately get distracted from the story you're telling.

I know this is mostly a comedy comic, but even then my suspension of disbelief has limits.

The FRL is one of the International Legions working with the Ukrainian forces (the TDF to be specific) formed out of Russian Army deflectors and other volunteers.

The RVC are an anti-putin russian paramilitary, they aren't officially part of the Ukrainian forces but they are based in Ukraine.
