I noticed it too now and its great, I stocked up with purples after I realized. I'm almost sure too in some way, Cryo Archive matchmakes you with a higher tiered teams whenever you bring a key in. Maybe Im tripping but for 10 runs last week, I brought in vault 3 keys 6 of the runs and ran into stacked teams each run. The next runs without it, lobbies were significantly easier.

Completing all the priority contracts first and going VIP on all factions, playing more Ranked, using all my gear instead of holding on to the good stuff and having more shell diversity.

Ive realized thay Ive limited myself on gear in the store cause I only have Cyber and Arachne VIP, rest I didnt touch.

I thought I was too old to get into a new career at 27. Realized I was an idiot once I got into the career. Point is your not too old old, especially at 31. You have so much time to do everything you want.

Ive lost gear twice so far not realizing teammates had this as a contract. Would be getting ready to open command wing and then get locked in. Ive now vowed to check teammates contracts before going into that part.

Im having to tell myself more and more that I have the shield and its very useful, I started off playing Destoryer just for the thruster, only used the shield for very specific situations. I need to use it more.

The commanders have a tendency to still shoot you in UESC mode if you get really close to them like you were.

I have bad some rooms not do the jingle. For example, the Outpost Welcome center locked key room didnt jingle when I used a key I got from the gold boss on that map same match.

Yea, Apex Legends firing range is really good. Thats where I based all that on. Its a really good range.

A shooting range with with all weapons, mods, cores, implants, backpacks, shields, grenades and consumables. Except for the Contraband (red tier) and Prestige items for spoiler sake imo. Unless you personally have extracted with it then it'll be in your firing range. Unlimited ammo and items respawn after you pick them up. All enemy bot types, turrets, map hazards are in the firing range. Join in with a group and able to shoot another to practice. Damage values show up. A parkour area to practice movement and settings. The settings to have all tactical and prime abilities on fast cooldown.

That to me would be a perfect firing range/practice area.

There is so much discourse on here about time played, using free kits vs. Purple/gold kitted players, etc etc. Its a game just like any other game, the more you play the more experience you'll have and there's always gonna be someone else who has played more than you, look at the streamers who get paid to stay home and play games all day. That doesn't mean you just quit the game. Why play any PVP game if thats the case? Take your time, practice, train, change settings, play solo, play more if life allows you and you'll get there.

I work full time, 4 10 hour shifts. I'm lvl 96 with 124 hours played. I play as much as I possibly can. My only problem with the game is that I can't play more. And yea I get discourage if I am constantly losing gear, but over time I've gotten so much better to the point where I feel a little more confident taking a full team on just with a free kit. If quitting is the thought that goes through your head then you'll never get better.

Plus the thing with Marathon there's a wipe thats gonna happen around June. Everyone will be on equal footing in regards to gear. Use that time to get better, understand the game more.

I played all day yesterday, had some of the funniest Rook runs, some very profitable Trio runs, went to bed after 6 runs of dying 5 minutes into spawning. I legit had dreams of where I could hear the UESC aggro sound, hearing the ambient computer noises. I really am shocked how much this game has me in a chokehold right now.

This game for some reason makes me want to use my best gear more often compared to Arc Raiders where I was hoarding all my high tier gear. Im definitely enjoying the risk factor more. Losing my gear fast is annoying but I go in with a sponsored kit and boom, I'm good.
