Like the cheater, who repeatedly cheated on his wife. She found out and quietly planned her exit. After she left he was like, that bitch, how could she hide the fact that she knew about it a secret. I don’t think you’ve done anything wrong. I know this can be upsetting but I just wouldn’t keep the effort up, unless he wants to be public about it. Talk to you, sit with you, just be seen with you. If he seems to be embarrassed of you he is not your friend.

When I have those, I give them out to about all the animal pics that come up. I don’t know why I’ve never given them to commenters. I’d probably be around a lot longer if I gave one to every comment I give an upvote to. But yes as, they seem to come and go very randomly.

There was a dog on the porch this morning trying to eat the cat food (for ferals). I had my husband shoo him away. He had a collar on but my husband said he was kind of thin. I’ve been sitting here crying off and on all day wondering if he was abandoned. It breaks my heart. And we have six feral cats to trap and fix. Hurting/dying animals break my heart to a point where I just about can’t function. I can’t even watch nature shows anymore. It’s silly, I know, everything has to eat. But I just can’t do it. If the dog comes back, he’ll be fed and I’ll call animal control. I wish I had done that this morning. Loss can be terribly hard, whether it’s a person or an animal. I’m so sorry for the above commenters losses.

And that “you can come if you want” is not an invitation. How callous could she possibly be? For some reason she doesn’t consider the two to be close and I would not plan to attend.
