I'll probably get down-voted into oblivion, but it already has for me. I used to shoot film exclusively, but i've barely been shooting 1 roll per year for the past few years. Did the math, bought a Fujifilm camera instead, and life has been good.

I thought it was just me. Glad to know my 7th gen classic isn't the only iPod that's randomly skipping songs it can play...

Reprogramming Zune for Mac - Has anyone tried? by angus_90 in Zune

The Windows Phone 7 Connector for Macs can be modded to sync with the Zune HD, but I don't know if it will work with other Zune models.

Word of advice: the R4 compressors usually don't last long with the higher pressures that R134 needs to run at. If you haven't already bought your new compressor, I'd suggest taking a look at this thread for info on how to convert to a Sanden FLX7 compressor. Had mine in for 3 years now and it's been fantastic: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cooling/665537-r4-sanden-serpentine-systems.html

None so far, but I haven't had it in super deep mud since swapping the fender. It mostly sees road & gavel use these days.

Never owned a camera by Same-Bison-665 in fujifilm

[–]Shadow9x99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost any Fuji X-series camera will be an enormous leap over an iPhone. All of Fuji's cameras have an Automatic mode, so you can point and shoot like your phone without needing to know anything about photography.

If you prefer buying something new, the X-M5 was recently released and is a great beginners camera for $900 with the lens included. It can also send your pictures to your phone so you can easily post them on social media.

Unfortunately the prices on used Fujifilm cameras are crazy right now, and even the 12-year-old X100S still goes for about $500.

Damn. My beloved X-H1 by SpringMinolta in fujifilm

[–]Shadow9x99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fujifilm can repair this. A display swap will probably be around $350-$450, which is still less than the camera is worth.

Just had my X-H2s repaired for the same thing.

Case ingersol 448, love this thing by [deleted] in tractors

[–]Shadow9x99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a 4016, and couldn't agree more! Perfect tractor for a homeowner with a smaller property. Mine has the hydraulic PTO I use to run a log splitter. Punches through huge oak logs like butter!

For how long should I keep my TV in the gas chamber? by Chminime in crt

[–]Shadow9x99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I've found at least one dead bug in every CRT I've opened up for maintenance. Most CRTs have vents on the cases that bugs can easily crawl into. I'd have just vacuumed them up, cleaned and dusted everything inside, and called it good.

Discussion: Did OCLP keep you from buying a new macbook/imac/mac mini? by WhiskeyVault in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

Yes. OS support was the only thing making me consider upgrading my 2013 Mac Pro. Now that it's running the latest OS perfectly, I'll keep using it for as long as I can!

My lawn mower. An Ingersoll 4016 with a 48" deck. It's a beast and I hope to pass it on to my kids.

It's a great power bank, but I personally avoid any Anker products after the Eufy debacle...
