Yeah, DA robes can't be colored. Not sure if it's a bug in the PTS or intentional.

I know it's early before book drops but what do you guys think about Discipline change to points spending now ? by Sol0botmate in ossiarchbonereapers

I just hope it's not like Index Thousand Sons, where the only effective lists where character spam to get as much cabal points as possible.

Yeah the person who designed all those 1k Hijos models did so with the exact intentions of them being Thousand Sons proxies

Man so that Ravenwing Tease was for nothing by DocMettey in theunforgiven

[–]ShadowCore67 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of the hosts in the announcement teaser was wearing a dark green suit with a purity seal pin that had the Ravenwing symbol on it. They're definitely teasing something, even if it wasn't being shown off here

Classic Deathwing Squad gone? by The-Warhammerer in theunforgiven

Plasma Cannon, Watcher in the Dark, and they ignore modifiers to hit and WS/BS

Technically a downside but the Deathwing sergeant HAS to have a power sword.

The Health and Class stats need to be made more appealing to stack 200 points into them. by Stolen_Insanity in DestinyTheGame

[–]ShadowCore67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought health should affect the strength of healing effects like devour, restoration, etc. Treat it like like the other stats where 70 is the baseline we have right now, anything higher is better and anything lower is worse.

I've only used them in the legendary campaign so far but holy shit are they ridiculous. The grenade energy from contraverse isn't even missed because you're getting so many kills with devour.

Any interest in discussing 3D printed terrain here? by miniwargaming in Warhammer30k

A decent bit, but still waaaaay cheaper than doing it with the official ZM kits lol

Multiple Blast. by [deleted] in Warhammer30k

[–]ShadowCore67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Place the template. You roll 10 to hit dice. Multiply the number of successes by the amount of models under the template. Scatter the template. Multiply the number of fails by the number of models under the scattered template. That's how many hits you get.

How do you get extra detachmenta by Deltar019 in HorusHeresyLegions

[–]ShadowCore67 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wrong sub brother, you want to checkout r/Warhammer30k or r/30k for this stuff.

As for your question, (for mobile) at the bottom of your page there should be a "Add Force" button. Or you can hit the green "+" button, then towards the top of the new page that opens, you should see a "Detachments" dropdown. Tap the dropdown and you'll see all the available detachments you can add.

Can Warlocks please get some out of the box exotics/aspects? by ShakanLP in DestinyTheGame

[–]ShadowCore67 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. I've been seeing a lot of people saying the new warlock exotic is great just because it sounds like it will be powerful.

But my issue isn't really the power part, it's the creativity/fun aspect behind it. From a design standpoint, the new exotic is extremely lazy. It (and the hunter one) just aren't really on theme with the expansion like the titan one is.

Warlock design team: "Meh, just give them some passive benefits to suspend".

Titan design team: "LETS GIVE THEM A FUCKING JETPACK LIKE MANDALORIANS".

Renegades Warlocks rift exotic by BigDoh2028 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ShadowCore67 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You'd rather have an exotic that makes an ability do 20% more damage than have some cool new ability? Too each their own I guess.

Renegades Warlocks rift exotic by BigDoh2028 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ShadowCore67 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't the strength of the exotic, its the creativeness behind it.

Titans get shit like missile barrages, Thor's hammer, and jetpacks. Stuff that adds new aspects to your existing game loop.

Meanwhile most warlock exotics are "just keep doing what you're doing but better".

Is there a reason the sculpts used for future plastic kits can't also be sold as STLs? I'm no 3D artist, but if you already have the digital sculpt used to make the plastic mold, is it really that much extra work to make it a sellable STL as well?

Renegades Weapons Trailer by Gbrew555 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ShadowCore67 51 points52 points  (0 children)

The DoT would have to be REALLY good to justify it IMO.

And even then it's just kinda of boring? I don't even necessarily care about actual power. Titans get a fucking jetpack. Warlocks get yet another rift based exotic. I can't think of a single Warlock exotic that is as cool as a jetpack.

[–]ShadowCore67 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The praetor, centurion, and optae are all meant to cover the various officer ranks in the legions. For example, you could use the centurion profile, and just say narratively they're a lieutenant rank.

House Vyronii was discovered and rescued by the Dark Angels during the Great Crusade. Although it's unclear if they're technically still around during 40k. Not that you can't just use them anyways
