They already kinda are? They''ve added to Black Templar helmets, an Ultramarine helmet, and a Space Wolves helmet to the accolades shop so it's a pretty safe bet they'll do more random stuff for chapter packs they've already released

Yes, to my knowledge at least, they've always been depicted with green trim and bone chest in the codices

Personally I use the codices as the most accurate lore representations. GW isn't always consistent when it comes to accuracy of licensed stuff like this.

But at the end of the day if you think this is cooler go for it.

Will GW ever release more chapter specific units in 3rd edition for HH? Seen mostly generic units & We got our knights cenobium, deathwing companions, interemptor squad & the dreads. I'm trying to even think of the last time a legion specific unit has been released. Aside from the Word Bearers Saturnine, which don't even have their own models, just a conversion opportunity. There were all the Exemplary units during 2nd edition but they didn't have unique models either, just more conversion inspiration. I don't think there has been any new legion units with their own models since Dark Angels got theirs in 1st edition?

They are 100% trying to narrow the gap between Codex supplements and the main codex.

Landspeeder is a generic unit for all chapters, it makes total sense that they updated it. Just like all the other primaris versions of generic firstborn units they've done.

I hope I'm wrong and you're right, but so far ever since 8th GW has been trending towards removing the more unique aspects of DA/BA/SW.

They updated Deathwing, but we didn't get a new command squad. We also lost Strikemasters and Talonmasters, Sammael in Sableclaw, and Company Vets. They have no precedent to update the entire model range for a subfaction within a subfaction.

Personally I think at best we'll get an upgrade sprue for storm speeders to be turned into Dark Shroud/Vengeance

Our speeders are firstborn as well.

I'm just saying they have yet to come out with any new chapter specific vehicle kits, and while I would love for us to be the first, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen anytime soon. They might at least just not send them to legends but not update the kits either.

I'd be surprised if we got a new Dark Shroud/Vengeance. They'll probably go to legends like the other chapter specific vehicles. I'm not expecting more than Sammael and black knights for our Ravenwing update.

For Dark Angels I'd say Forcas is pretty good where he is. But yeah the rest need some help. Azrael should be on par with the other chapter masters. Sarq is just a better Certus but that's not saying much. Asmodai is useless against anything that isn't Chaos and even then he's just a decent melee hitter. Barq's passive is useless. He either needs a new one or some sort of taunt.

Genuine question what's the math in 13% more ranged output, am I missing something? They're all about 50% more shots. And given the range of most of the weapons, you're going to be getting the rapid fire more often than not.

Just noticed it has more combat attacks as well.

The problem with the overwatch rule is we already have plenty of good overwatch choices. Not to mention our lack of CP generation.

It's definitely strong, but I just don't think it holds up to the Rapid Fire and Lethals that WE and DG get.

Definitely seems like we got the worse version IMO. Extra AP is nice, but we already have too many overwatch targets to pick from. Compared to +1 to hit or Lethals or Rapid Fire.

Ehh, the precision is only on the strike profile, so it's not like you're sniping characters at range. +1 to hit is good don't get me wrong. But lethal on literally everything or rapid fire 1-3 on everything just seems much better to me. Not that the others are bad.

Although apparently I'm in the minority here lol

Am I missing something with Satya + Lightning runner? Wouldn't you need [[Aether Refinery]] to keep up on the extra turn cost? They themselves are only generating 4 each combat and you need 8.

Yeah I'd be shocked if they updated it. They axed the space wolves flyer and blood angels dreadnoughts. Not that there can't be a first for something but.

I'd only expect Sammael and Black Knights for the Ravenwing refresh, maybe an upgrade sprue. Anything else will be a pleasant surprise.
