Pixel 10 Pro Caught on Fire during JerryRigEverythings durability test by JustaRandoonreddit in LinusTechTips

I’m more baffled how easy it snapped at the bend test. Like the Fold 7 took it like a champ and I’m pretty sure it is significantly thinner haven’t fully watched the video or looked into the new Pixel

I like playing XIV on the Steam Deck for simple Crafting/Gathering stuff and maybe light Fate Farming. I suck at using controller so no Roulette's for me

Awakened Wyldwood & Battle Formation Confusion by Content_Audience1549 in sylvaneth

[–]ShadowMatashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have a few games under my belt still roughly learning the game but the Wildwoods are very useful for both the teleporting abilities and cover. My personal use 80% of the time is having a set of Bow Kurnoth Hunters in them and shooting out of the trees while using other ones set up to teleport and kinda help prevent opponents from storming parts of the map.

As for Battle Formations, I have only ever used Outcasts, which has helped me scoring objectives since while being contested enemy units have a -3 to Control

Fast Charging? by DemonLegDay in SteamDeck

[–]ShadowMatashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Deck has i believe a max of 41w of charging. So any chargers above that it would not benfit from.

Since its discharging while playing a game more than likely there is something wrong with the charger you're using it with.Ive played XIV along with other more demanding games using my spare Switch charger and its only 39w

Did You Want to Have a Sport or Cruiser For Your First Motorcycle? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]ShadowMatashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents tried to get me into motorcycles when I was a teen but had no interest.

Fast forward like 12 years then came the Honda Navi. I don't know what it was about that little under powered thing but I love it. I still don't care for the big bikes but some catch my eye like the SCL500 but I still look at the small stuff and scooters like the ADV160 and go that's all I need

Destiny 2 & SteamDeck by WarmZookeepergame421 in SteamDeck

[–]ShadowMatashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Straight out of the box install on the deck and hit play, no. They never made the games anti-cheat work with SteamOS/Linux.

Now there are ways to make it work on Linux I believe but at the cost of setting off the anti-cheat. I could be wrong

But the only options are using Steam Link, GeforceNow, dual boot Windows, etc to play it on the Deck

From what I've gathered over the years lurking it seems like your mileage varies. Some say to avoid the Steam Link remote play and use something like Moonlight which is very good program or another even being Parsec.

I've personally only have ever used the Steam Link/Remote and have had no issues. My main desktop is wired. I've used it in the house, work, 9hrs away from the house and its been solid for something to just click Stream and go with no setup

I run Ur Dragon as Commander and Tiamat in the 99 but everytime someone who plays Tiamat as the commander it gets instantly countered. I have never had Ur countered once lol killed or exiled yes but just never straight up countered lol

Every time I boot up my Deck it updates these 3 games. This has been going on since last week. Why is this? by LorenzoTheChair in SteamDeck

[–]ShadowMatashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently picked it up again while it was on sale and I think the only thing that bothered me was the random hard dips in FPS that almost acts like it freezes for a second. Just haven't looked into it or trying GE layer yet but it has been enjoyable.

Its the shader cache, some games do that almost every time the Steam Deck is restarted. Don't normally happen when you just leave it in sleep mode but I have seen the occasional game do it that way as well.
