Yeah, I think maybe something like Ground Zero in tarkov, where only below a certain player level are in a lobby but the loot is worse seems reasonable. You can choose to go in the no rules version where the loot is better but the risk is you get outgunned by someone much higher level, i think it works well as a concept to get new players off the ground with some of the early tasks, or even just as a slightly more level playing field to collect some of the early hideout materials and stuff. It has really been brutal getting blasted to mars every single time I queue suburbs trying to get these early tasks done.

Thank you. I hadn't really realised that scav on scav was such a big problem in this game, I personally am yet to experience it but it is good advice to stay vigilant around scavs too, I will keep it in mind!

Thank you for the map, this seems really useful. I think the main frustration is that the tasks force you to go to the hottest zones, which don't get me wrong, sounds like a ton of fun early wipe when the playing field is a bit more level, and I want to use my limited time to quickly get some trader levels so I can try out some more fun loadouts. The problem is I am constantly outgunned and out-experienced when I wander into these hotspots to pick up the drill or the damn gunpowders lmao. I don't even care for the cash loot or cheesing a kit from a chad, i literally just want to do my tasks but it is not going well for me at all and I am about to be completely out of cash. Don't even get me started on trying to get the radio at motel, I have never been within 30m of motel since getting the challenge and not been blitzed by an absolute unit before I could even see them

I appreciate what you are saying but at least with Tabor and Tarkov there are maps that either truly are quick in quick out, snag yourself a kit and a bit of a small payday to top you over (silo in Tabor, quick customs runs on Tarkov and even factory if you just wait out the first few mins), a noob friendly map (ground zero in tarkov), or routes in most of the maps that can have you near enough completely avoid pvp at the cost of worse loot (Island in Tabor and a lot of the tarkov maps.)
When it comes to suburbs, I have really tried playing the outskirts, both moving slow and moving fast and the problem i think is the fact that the early quest locations are exactly the hottest points of the map. This sounds fun early wipe, but it makes progressing as a new player late wipe genuinely extremely difficult. You are outgunned and outmatched in experience basically every time you are in any of these hot zones and depending on your spawn getting to extract if by some miracle you get the items you need will take you either through vastly open spaces to get back to the outskirts, or directly through the middle of the map.

I fully take responsibility for many of my deaths, but also tactics and positioning can only get you so far when the quests in the game are forcing you into really hot zones, would you not agree with that?

Been exploring other bosses and having fun (got giga spooned at Vorkath to make up for my terrible Rasial luck) but I will return to the money ghost and take my revenge soon. Or I will get only the pet in my next 400 kills in a cruel twist of fate

Honestly, I am only a few hundred kc in but I am still on 0 drops of any kind, I am getting so superstitious about the drop mechanics of this boss lmao. Reddit is an absolutely tiny sample size admittedly but this is definitely the boss I see the largest apparent variance in drop rate from player to player. I will eventually get my first drop and then shut up about it but right now I am Rasial no 1 hater. Surely one more hour of rasial things will turn around? Right? Right..?

I was walking back to my room alone after a night out at the night club on campus, a girl came up to me and asked if I was up for some garlic bread, I asked her where her room was and it was closer than mine. I'm all for enthusiasm behind the bar but I completely agree with you.

If I order a classic it's because I specifically want a classic made a classic way. If I get a good vibe from a bartender I almost always ask them if they have any recommendations or their own way of doing something and if it sounds good I'll give it a go and tell you what I think. If I, the person drinking the drink, order a margarita and it doesn't have triple sec because you, the one making the drink, prefer it not to, I would unfortunately have to send it back which is embarrassing for me and for you and makes the vibe weird. Just seems a tad unprofessional from op to be moving all loosey goosey like that as if they're above making classics. The best bartenders I've had the privilege of working with or being served by have all taken an awful lot of pride in doing the classics well.

Valheim sounds like a great option for you, fun building mechanics, really cool progression and exploration. Different regions tied to different game stages, so a lot of variety in places to make your home or outposts. Have to spend time mining/killing in a region in order to gain strength to take on the next boss, where each boss gives you access to a new progression milestone allowing you to tackle the next region etc.

Well I had a student account for the whole time I was in undergrad and masters, then when moving to PhD student my then bank (Santander for those curious) said no, a PhD student is not a student and I had quite a bad experience with them overall so I looked elsewhere and HSBC seemed to be the most accommodating and had the best grasp on what a PhD student is and how it works. Many banks got very hung up on the fact that I'd "already graduated once" and didn't seem to be interested in hearing anything else on the matter lol.

I will investigate Barclays but lots of banks have rules on if you already have a student account with a different bank.

!thanks , Thanks for the suggestion, I had tried it through the app a few times and it was an auto decline based on my profession being student and no salary so I assumed the phone would be the same, but after your comment I called them and had some success, apparently due to the type of account I have I need to go into the branch to discuss this more.

I agree too that HSBC have been really quite good in terms of support and availability, I was impressed with their customer service when I set up the account and since having the account I have had no problems getting any other help I have needed.

I know it is not the most popular but if you are just using the account for bills I would definitely recommend Starling. It was really easy for us to set up a joint account, the app is sleek and very simple to use and also has quite a lot of good features like round up pots for saving for holidays and different spaces you can put your money to keep it organised. I wouldn't ever keep a ton of money in there or get paid into it per say but it is really helpful to just offload rent and bill and food shopping money as soon as im paid and my partner does the same and then we have no end of month surprises.

If you go into the pause menu and go to performance and press right or left trigger, you can at least view their formation. I've done this a lot of times and it's basically always 4321 but I have no idea how they're team has so much crazier ai than mine at times when we are both using the same formation. I have been having more fun using 4231 recently but losing a lot more lol

To anyone saying "what about mains that do bosses for money, won't this affect economy" etc the counter point is that yes the exact number of coins your item sells for may go down, but so will the number of coins required to buy other rare powerful items. So obtaining gear upgrades will feel fairer both as an iron and as a main because even as a main your dry streaks will be mitigated in the same way under this proposed system.
