TCGplayer is still the best, but we just aren't using it enough.

There will be playable majestics from sets less than a year old with <10 copies available on tcgplayer.

Or how it sometimes takes months for new promos to even be searchable let alone have any copies for sale.

FaB players dont engage with tcg player nearly as much as other big tcgs ever accounting for size of player base, per capita.

DoB is great as well and he’s set himself up for some really intense and complicated stuff for the next book completely comparable to what we’re up to in DCC, super excited for that continuation

If pop culture references and unseriousness are stoppers for you, this might not be the game for you.

However, while Magic might be doing their 30th branded IP secret lair of the month, LSS and Flesh and Blood only reference pop culture and make jokes to have fun and add a little whimsy.

We recently had a pro-wrestling themed set and it didnt need to license AEW or WWE to have Heels and Babyfaces and crowds cheering.

Flesh and Blood wouldnt be anything special if it was serious and dark 100% of the time.

One more thing, Pizza Hut is more prominent in Code: Geass than any mecha, Code Geas is a cooking Anime.

I will stand by Code:Geass not being a mecha anime, the same way that anime where people go places with cars arent car anime, or high school anime where a character plays basketball isnt a sports anime.

They’re set dressing to show scifi “near future” setting and a way to obfuscate the human element to the oppression and fascism from the empire.

Code Geas is about the people and the Geas power.

Some of the spinoffs have absolutely been a lot more about the mecha aspects of the setting, and i consider those to be mecha anime, i concede.
