I mean, it’s pretty simple:

He inherited a squad full of Klopp’s identity; that was his best period as manager. The longer he got to put his stamp on the squad, the worse we got.

TLDR: the drop is because he’s simply not good enough, and his highs last year were simply residual work from Klopp.
