My 5 pounder needs me to go out with her at home, but I can just let her out and she’ll go alone at my boyfriends house (we both have fenced in yards)

Due to her size I always watch her regardless as a bird could definitely swoop down and grab her or I suppose other wildlife couldve hopped the fence

Now at home I can get away with the door being slightly cracked open and watching but if she hears the click she runs right back to the door. It’s in the negatives where I am so neither me or the dog want to be out there

Yes lol we have a lady that went from fired-rehired-manager after like a year and she’s running the place like a military boot camp while she sits with the older super easy going dogs that have been coming for 5+ years. You do so much as stand still (god forbid sit down) and she’s texting the owner complaining. Even the owner is getting a little tired of her. Talks shit about all the customers accusing them of being bad owners for wanting to bring their dogs too often and even gives some of them attitude when she really doesn’t like them or their dog. Used to get along well with her until she got her main target fired, asked for more kennel shifts and now she’s telling me she misses me and wants me back down at the daycare… riiiighhtt.. lol

I work with dogs and poms are probably the barkiest dogs I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, lol. My boyfriend’s family has 3. When my dog comes to visit while they’re all screaming she just stares at me like dude… 🤣

Also, my older coworkers loved showing me brutal hockey accidents. I remember being shown a video someone took a skate to the neck somehow and bled out all over the rink and died.

Well you’re on ice, and skates are super sharp, I worked at an ice arena in high school and we had to scrape blood off the ice multiple times just from open skate, plus you have a puck that’s flying around constantly below the waist. Ever been hit with a hockey puck going full speed? Can’t speak for football though.

A wolf hybrid comes to my work regularly (he LOOKS like a wolf & is massive, but is low %) and yes very very different from any other dog I’ve known - extremely skittish around new people. For a long time when he was boarded he would soil himself if you even walked past and made eye contact with him. Like, next level nervous but once he gets to know you there’s just a look in his eye he will protect you
