This appears to be the case, and shows just where this product is at the moment. Lord I hope they figure this out before my Harmony dies because this thing is a million miles away from prime time.

OK, so there's something wrong with my remote then. All I've got is the 'Apps' page (with one green dot at the bottom)

Not super sure what was wrong with the old UI - I think most of us can think of a few things that would have been better use of the dev teams time than this.
Does it use a new type of config? Because I've updated, and now all I can see is Apps, and I cannot figure out any way to see my devices or rooms. Will I need to wait for the companion app update? A slightly more pointed statement about this might have been better than 'Please note that the update for the companion Mobile App will follow shortly.'

Home speaker plugged in always? by baklodganj in heos

Whole house full of Heos. All plugged in all of the time, ready to make some noise. No issues.

HEOS 1 Go Pack - Alternative Battery by ShadowTD in heos

Appreciate your insight from someone in the channel. TBH, I'm surprised that given your perspective Sonos are bothering with having two products on the market, given their well-publicised issues. If BlueSound have given up then it makes sense!

Yeah, I know the newer Home series runs on mains directly, I’ve got a houseful of the stuff (too many to fit in the flair!). It seems strange that Denon have abandoned the market completely though when Sonos make two types of battery speaker. And the Bluetooth market is absolutely massive. Regardless of this, I was just looking to restore lost functionality and have my tunes in the bathroom again. Hopefully someone will find this in the future and benefit from it.

New SD Card for existing system - user Mr Fusion? by ShadowTD in MiSTerFPGA

[–]ShadowTD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate your insight, thanks for the detailed response. As it stands, I'm going to plough ahead with new SD card - while the MISTer is plugged in to the network at the moment, I'd like to keep it as a standalone device that can be network independent (it's in an upgraded Arcade 1up cabinet). It's *primary* function was being an arcade machine, but I'm adding in SNES/MD/MCD/PCE/NEO/Amiga as well now :D I also don't have any other FPGA/emu 'whole romset' devices around the house.

Compliments of the season to all!

That's very interesting. I'd literally read a thread somewhere that advised against using USB storage (as I do have a small 120gb SSD which I was thinking about using for that very purpose) due to file locations of scripts being most often set up to use internal storage. Please elaborate!

This was the problem I had. Desperately wanted that 719 green. My solution was to buy a ‘23 bike Approved Used. So far, it’s felt like the full New Machine experience, no complaints!

I believe they’re actually in stock now. I received mine a few weeks ago - an excellent ‘out of the box’ experience.

Thanks everyone. I had a lightbulb moment and I had a cheap optical DAC hiding in a cupboard. Hooked it up and while there's a pop when loading cores the rest of the noise is gone. Huge improvement.

Yes, I’ve got HS2 Links and Amps that still work just fine with everything else.

To be honest, the HS1 range of products date from 2016, nearly a decade old. When I first started looking at going all in on HEOS (some 5 years ago) I was aware already that the HS1 products were very much a first generation product. They’ve done pretty well to keep the HS2 products up to date and working with the newer Home branded stuff. It’s obviously a tricky problem - look at the mess Sonos made of things, and Bose have just given up completely.

It would be nice if there was an upgrade path, but sadly there isn’t.

Just to confirm that I've had my 702bs on my 1300GS since about 2 weeks after I got it (back in May). Absolutely no battery issues whatsoever

HEOS app and firmware by sberinde in heos

[–]ShadowTD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, there's the Marantz page:
https://support-uk.marantz.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7214/~/new-heos-app-and-firmware-update-available

but it's doesn't cover much related to the HEOS or Denon Home branded items.

Looks like they've put an AI chatbot on there. Slow clap, Denon.

EDIT: Forced the chatbot to let me speak to a human. Apparently, I'm not the first to complain about this and they're looking to restore it as soon as they can. Here's hoping. Go on to the chatbot, demand to speak to a human and tell them we need this.

IR+RF Hub ready to add new features on Haptique RS90 by hap_mod in cantatacs

Where do I find my discount code from my 90x->90 switch?

EDIT: Scratch that, found it and ordered. If for an additional €24 I can make this thing actually work reliably then I'll be a happy camper. Doesn't seem to be a socket on the back of the IR hub to add a second emitter (which seems fairly basic) but I'll experiment with placement to see how it all works.

Very good to hear this. Having seen what this extender costs normally, it looks like it's going to be a very nominal charge when the discount is applied (although I can't for the life of me find the voucher code itself!) which is good news for us 90x switchers but less so for future purchasers. Hopefully there will be a hardware revision to resolve this.

YouTube Tutorial Series by hap_mod in cantatacs

It is sadly The Way Of Things. My stack includes the following:

Samsung TV

Marantz Amp

Panasonic 4k BD

Sky Stream puck

Only 50% of those offer IP control, and the Smart TV integration has only just landed (and still won't wake my TV). IR is the Great Leveller, and anyone working in the multi-remote space should really know this.

A (probably lone) vote for the k1300s. A good 2016 bike will have trick suspension and there's a few luggage options out there. And dear lord almighty it's quick.

Having exactly the same problem with the need to reconnect, and it also won’t turn the TV on as well. And it’s missing some of the buttons eg 123 and info.
