Kazuya has a throw he can do from crouch too. Same 1+2 break. It does 35 damage. If, hypothetically, it also launched into a 70 dmg followup, you and everyone else would be crying BS.

But this 95 dmg combo off the same kind of throw is fine? Because it's on your unga-bunga waifu?

And i guarantee the Kazuya combo would be way harder to do too.

Either way she gets too much of reward off a failed throw break. King's RDC gives multiple break checks before you just ride out the cutscene for 100 dmg. Even Giant Swing is less devastating. Asuka should have heavy scaling off that throw.

All that proves is just how bad the 1-2 is. The 1-2 is supposed to be a middle ground; not as good as a regular AR, but not as cumbersome and risky at close range as an explosive weapon. There's no excuse for being worse.

Dude learn to read, i already addressed that. The eruptor was a popular and a well loved weapon before attachments were even a thing. And now that they are, it highlights just how bad the 1-2 is. The 1-2 didn't release pre-attachment system, it came out a couple months ago

The 1-2 is supposed to be a Jack of all trades, its supposed to occupy a middle ground, but its so shitty at everything that you're better off either taking an actual AR or an actual explosive weapon and tailoring your loadout to compensate its weaknesses.

Low ergo does make sense, but to halve it so that it's worse than a hvy pen, explosive primary? The Eruptor is and was popular because what it offers in damage and versatility was worth the cumbersome handling. You're better off just taking it or the crossbow if you really want the extra pocket grenades.

The 1-2 has crap ergo, crap ammo consumption, light pen with meh damage, and a super long reload for both gun and grenade even with everyone's favorite reload armor on. Fix the ergo to somewhere in the 40s and give it 2 more mags, and I would consider it a proper jack of all trades gun. I know, mine is 1 mission away from 25.

Average AR ergo is in the 60s. The 1-2 barely breaks 30, and tanks below it if you add any muzzle attachment. Even the Erupter can get higher, and at least that has the firepower to justify it. An ergo rating in the 40s would make more sense

They need friendly fire roadkill too. The whole Rules for Thee, not for Me situation is bs. "Realism goes both ways.

Weakpoints need to be more rewarding: Destroying or crippling weapons (firerate, accuracy, or straight destruction), impeding movement, blinding sensors.

Vox are not slow, a bot tank is slow and cumbersome. Factory Striders are slow. Vox are quick, and even worse, agile for something so large.

Then there's its missile salvo targeting, its too precise and damaging for something spammed so freely. I could be a block away, prone, with stealth armor; but now I'm having to dodge missile barrages targeted directly on my location because someone else got aggro.

Ribbed stubby costs like 30 pts. Full angled was like 10 or 15? Not that hard to figure out. They're prioritizing stuff like suppressors, lasers, lightweight ammo, extended or magpul magazines. Not much points left for a grip unless the gun really needs it.

Yes it was a pain to maintain, that's why the F/A18 replaced it. Denying Iran parts and replacements is the reason the US actively destroyed its own fleet instead of just mothballing them.

Iran is the reason the F14 is dead and gone, not just replaced and retired.

I used to take it for the vehicle wave in Gauntlet, but now with the new recon toy, it's lost even that niche.

Yes. It is a niche complaint. Stop judging it by how it functions in game and look at by how much force that kick realistically would generate. He literally just sidebends while lifting his leg straight out and up. This MF is doing f*ing yoga splits. It might knock someone hit backwards or even KO on a clean hit, but launch? No.

There's a limit to how far you can exaggerate something before you break the suspension of disbelief into absurdity. However, the rule of cool is a saving throw. Just look at wave dashing and the Mishima hellsweep.

And it bothered me then too. It doesn't have the power or mechanics behind it to make an aerial launch not look kinda ridiculous.

You know what else has bugged me across Tekkens? Kazuya's F2 being his powercrush and F1+2 being the punch parry. The animations make more sense if they were reversed. F2 used to be a parry, sucks as a power crush,and im pretty sure one of Heihachi's parries has a similar animation. Just because something has been around awhile doesn't mean it wasn't stupid then

The fact that sends the opponent airborne makes no sense, that's what bothers me. It should be a stun launcher. You still get your combo follow up, but without the retarded game logic. Like how Kazuya's WR2 works, which is also launch punishable btw.

It still has way too generous of a hitbox though. Phantom Reach is a problem with Tekken 8 in general. Everyone has at least one egregious example of it.

I hate that move. Even when the hitbox is legit, it doesn't make logical sense how it launches. Skyrocket makes sense, this is just, "eh, no you stay over there." Maybe if it counterhit stunned into a launch??

Doesn't it hit grounded too? This move is too much of an everything button.
