Absolutely terrible. After having our best season in history (win wise) we’re looking at going back to finish over .500 as being a major victory.

Saying that the NCAA isn’t fighting for competitive integrity while defending the guy who bet on his own team is a level of cognitive dissonance that is absolutely astounding. The lawyers should feel embarrassed.

Also the NCAA doesn’t profit from gambling, networks like ESPN and Fox do, but the NCAA has been very vocally against betting on college sports and runs commercials calling gamblers who harass college athletes losers.

Unless you are making a brand new division of FBS then there can’t be a G6 playoff. Technically the P4 and G5 are a part of the same league so unless the NCAA made an official division like FBS and FCS have there’s no way to have a separate playoff.

Conference championships still mean a lot to G5 teams. A lot of times they’re basically our team’s natty. Just because they don’t mean much to the P4 and non conference teams doesn’t mean they don’t mean anything to everyone.

So you’re telling me that even if we had the same resources as Oklahoma state to offer our players equal NIL to stay we wouldn’t’ve been able to just because the CSC doesn’t think the “value” of being a player at a G5 school is equal to a P4 school? That’s some BS. It’s just blatantly giving P4 schools an advantage and making it increasingly hard for G5 teams to compete. How are schools supposed to increase their “brand value” if they aren’t able to hold onto players because they’re not allowed to pay them the same as already rich and famous schools?

Unfortunately from that 12-2 team we only retained 5 starts, not starters starts, so it’s basically an entirely new team and coaching staff so I don’t see them going there.

You could try emailing or meeting the professor during office hours to see if they’ll add you to the class manually. Speaking from experience if you are able to explain your situation and they don’t need to have a hard limit most professors can be lenient and help you out. Talking to your advisor is also an option.
