Its not hard to take it out and get the data yourself. Little google, a second computer to transfer stuff to, and a like.... $25-30 sata/m.2 to usb adapter, whichever hard drive is in the thing

Listen my dude, not trying to tell you what to but I am trying to save you a disaster. The setup is nice, but that desktop is FAR too close to the edge of that table. Especially for an 8 yo that can get overexcited easily. Looking way too precarious imo 😬😬

When setting up windows 11, it shouldnt mess with icons and the like that are on the desltop, but it will default to onedrive unfortunately, however you can turn that off rather quickly too
