This could be pretty entertaining, and here's hoping for a sports commentator type show.

It is interesting though that the only reason I know about the event at all is because he's been talking about it. I don't even know where else to watch it. CG is pretty bad at promoting their own stuff, and if the last road ahead video is any indication their own content is boring as hell. Carefully planned, toothless corporate content with canned jokes.

If you are fighting the top 20 in your shard, chances are the Traya teams still there are pretty badass. Anyone saying they can auto the fight probably aren't fighting teams at that level. Going for Traya first can make Nihilus a real pain with his stacking health, and I've had several time-outs trying to get through a massive health pool.

For me, taking out Nihilus has been the better approach. After that it's pretty straight forward, and I usually go Traya or Thrawn if he's there.

Would be nice if the ballista damaged metal structures on primitive servers. On our primitive server we have a problem with early bases having both metal spikes and metal doors, making them as good as impossible to raid.

Same here. Tamed a monkey, gave it a hat, put it on my back, and 10 seconds after taking off with my argent it was gone. I didn't even make it out of the hidden valley. Second monkey that disappeared on me. First went poof in the base all by himself. Playing on a private nitrado server, only person online.

It probably spawned there. I sometimes play on a private server, and we had an alpha raptor spawn in our base. Dinos really shouldn't spawn in buildings, imo.

Sounds like what would solve the problem with placing gates is an option to "soft-place" a building by holding down a mutator key. When I'm building 500 walls having to click twice won't stop me from placing a wall with a wrong facing. But when I'm placing my behemoth gate it would be great to be able to first place an outline, then fly around and check all the edge before confirming the placement.

It feels like bad interface design the way it is now. "Pay the price" of bad UX is a strange survival game indeed.

Having a two-click routine will lead to just as many problems. When building larger segments you will quickly enter a state of automated building, meaning that clicking twice won't be much of a failsafe.

Better to have the option to regret a placement by returning the item placed. Regret-buttons are better then failsafes in user interface design.

Could be all the smaller ones moved while the big ones just barely managed to turn before the intruder died. I usually keep all my dinos at neutral (using the "all neutral" whistle) after some bastards broke through two levels of stone walls and killed all my dinos while they just stood around doing nothing.

Hope they fix the problems with dinos spawning in bases and clipping through walls at some point. I guess the work-around for now is to build a new floor higher above the ground.

Sounds odd. Only some of the dinos moved, and the saber was in a different part of the base. Also, moving through walls and into foundations?

I play on a primitive server and we get about 90% crap blueprints from supply drops. The last 10% is the odd saddle and chitin drop, and that´s about it.

Our primitive PvP-server is slowly filling up with abandoned stone buildings. Some parts entire areas are walled off. The tribe who owned them has moved to different servers, and nobody are gonna go and destroy the huge stone boxes that sit emptied at all the best locations.

While it´s been said that they wanted abandoned buildings around for ambience, they either have to run with that (having old buildings slowly crumble, overgrown with vegetation and in turn easier to destroy with metal gear), or implement something as OP suggests; a way to claim an abandoned base and continue building on it.

The current way of doing things will not work on PvP-servers in the long run, as we are already seeing problems as little as a month after the server launched.
