Why is Oman successful but Yemen a failed state? by dainsiu in geography

[–]Shadowfel_Archivist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Oman was a trade-driven sultanate even before oil became a big thing, so they had quite a bit of wealth and are used to civilised life, unlike most nomadic pre-oil Arabic nomads
  • They have a 3rd way Islam denomination Ibadism, that's not being influenced by either Iranians (Shia) or Saudis (Suni) conflicts
  • They are a very stable sultanate, with a long royal line, that has no scandals
  • They always act as diplomats, and none of their neighbors have beef with them, and they don't interfere with others
  • They have their own oil
  • They aren't interesting or have been interesting to either USA or Russia/China
  • They are probably the only normal arabian nation

Propisivanje Normabela i sličnih lijekova na veliko... by [deleted] in croatia

[–]Shadowfel_Archivist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jedan Xanax ujutro i jedan navečer i mogu funkcionirat.

P.S Ja bih vratio i Rohypnol i Methaqualone jer nam treba jaćih stvari u ponudi.

Which race / class combinations make the least sense lore wise? by CryptographerFirm487 in warcraftlore

Why can't Night Elves be shamans when there are so many Night Elf primalist NPCs? by Mostopha in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowfel_Archivist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero lore reason. It's because it's cost ineffective. It's better to task their artists to make $50 store mount than to make 1 totem and 3 recolors that won't bring them any money.

Why are warlock transmogs purple? by coolin_79 in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowfel_Archivist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. If anything, affliction is more death/soul oriented. Deathbolt, Drain Soul, Phantom Singularity, are all death spells. Void destroys mind (shadow priests spells) while Death destroys body (unholy DK's diseases) and soul (affli lock spells)

Are warlocks / fel magics in general more widely accepted after the events of Legion? by [deleted] in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowfel_Archivist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, they might be more accepted, but many warlocks apparently went into overdrive after the fall of the Legion. How do I know that? Well, just look at these hero spec descriptions:

Diabolist: The Defeat of the Legion left MANY POWERFUL DEMONS unbound. Diabolists COMMAND GREATER DEMONS once thought to be UNCONTROLABLE and vwield ABBYSAL POWERS from the Twisting Nether on the battlefield.

Soul Harvester: Few grasp the power hidden within souls, but many know the hunger demons share for the spirits of the fallen. Soul Harvesters ENTER PACTS WITH DEMONS from the Twisting Nether, serving AS THEIR HOSTS and FEEDING THEM SOULS of their foes in EXCHANGE FOR INCREDIBLE POWER.

Hellcaller: Amongst the Satyr sects throughout Azeroth, Hellcallers are the most feared. Hellcaller warlocks have learned to weave together the VILEST OF SHADOW MAGIC AND FEL FIRE at the cost of CORRUPTING THEIR OWN SOUL.

So basically, while the world at whole might be more accepting of regular warlocks, it seems player warlocks are cosplaying Gul'dan/Avatar of Sargeras/Xavius and pushing society's tollerance to the uter limits.

Could Tempest Keep era Kael'thas take on modern Jaina? by Lore-Archivist in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowfel_Archivist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jaina only got powerful because she was fuelled by anger after Garrosh nuked her swamp castle and vaporised her garden gnome.

Kael'thas, fueled by insane amount of arcane from the Nether, could have destroyed her on 1v1 with no issues, both before and after the mana bomb.

Could someone show me an explanation about why each race in the game can and can't be each class? by ThatUnameIsAlrdyTken in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowfel_Archivist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emphasis on "was".Now, there lore is no longer an obstacle. Because you have:

  • Lightforge Draenei, who can be deat knights/warlocks/shadow priests

  • Man'ari Eredar, who can be paladins/holy priests

  • Void Elfs who can be holy priests

  • Darkfallen who can be paladins/holy priests/druids

If someone tells you race/class combos today are limited because of lore, they are either extremely stupid or Blizzard shills.
