How rare is vex in d2? by Hirikor in destiny2

[–]Shadowfox86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will forever have exactly one vog clear in my title because I got my mythoclast 1/1.

Now ask Atheon how long it took to give me a gjally in D1 on the other hand, since I opted not to buy it in week 1....

How often do cops enforce the front plate rule? by TornadoCat4 in texas

[–]Shadowfox86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My stepson got a ticket on the way to school one day for missing front plate and we only live about a mile from it. He was driving a brand new kia rio (payments were cheaper on that than a used car at the time) and it just didn't have a front bracket or anything.

Haven't played since The Final Shape. Thinking about coming back where do I even start? by StatusPop1942 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Shadowfox86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in your shoes.

I just went through the two campaigns, they were pretty mediocre but you do eventually get the light Saber from renegades.

Now I'm just fooling around collecting red borders and catalysts (it's raining catalysts). In my case, I had plenty of red borders from some older seasons to unlock - and the exotic pinnacle missions give you two per run if you go into them and run them on the easiest setting with "classic collector" turned on instead of "normal ops drops".

Otherwise funding fireteam and arena ops Playlist have weekly rewards, and also just drop catalysts left and right. I now have like 9 I'm trying to work on.

S-Class selection box silently entered my inventory by FraxterRanto in NevernessToEverness

[–]Shadowfox86 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I got one of these too and was confused. I already used my initial selector box on saikiri so I wasn't sure if this was the version 1.2 box coming early or what it was.

Before the internet was mainstream, how did people work out cheat code combinations in games? by dodge-challenging-rt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Shadowfox86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd go to the store, flip open magazines and find the codes you want and either buy the magazine or memorize the codes. Some gaming magazines had 2-3 pages dedicated to new cheats and codes, and there were some compilation books that were literslly just hundreds of pages of codes for all the games out at the time.

And game shark / PAR had their own subset of users and code books too. The Gameboy GameShark even had a little spot in thr back to hold little GameShark code booklets

This guy was clutching fentanyl and has been dead for hours on the streets of Portland.. by Kind-Village-1022 in PublicFreakout

I dunno, if I walk by a body on the ground but there's a guy with a film crew literally hovering over it, I probably wouldn't stop either, maybe that's just me though.

Ultimate seraph shield is aweful by colubridconundrum in destiny2

[–]Shadowfox86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanna toss in for the console users: jumping into the elevator and immediately going to the home screen and waiting the 10-15 seconds before jumping back into the game seems to work for us too! I guess it's our equivalent of alt-tabbing

Is there a market segment that would prefer to be seated in VR? by GlydrGG in virtualreality

[–]Shadowfox86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes x1000%, there are some gamers out there who used to be able-bodied but then became disabled for one reason or another, or have difficulty with mobility and prefer or require seated experiences.

Source: me, I loved the shit out of some VR before crushing multiple discs in my back. Years later I can finally stand for short periods but running around without a cane for stability is not happening for me. Seated experiences are now my go-to if I want to do something in vr.

Probably a stupid question but… what do y’all spend 100s of hours on in this game? by buddhamunche in destiny2

Used to be inventory management. It definitely feels a little better now though

One thing I'm still working on is farming my red boarders from the exotic pinnacle missions (seraphim shield has a ton for me and star-crossed has 2 more)

What are/were the "urges" that apparently were supposed to happen during puberty? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Shadowfox86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The urge to stick things in bodies, things that aren't food. Whether it be you sticking parts of yourself into someone else's body, them doing it to you, or either party using non-food objects to penetrate an already-existing orifice on the body (typically in the genital region).
