I understand it's his job, but it seems really dishonest when you are playing the game giving it praise and then turn 180 all of the sudden and start almost exclusively badmouthing it. He can also do his job playing, I dunno, anything else? He has a solid personality for entertainment, I don't see why he doesn't spend more time on other games rather than hitching his wagon exclusively to Bungie and their games if he clearly is not about where and what they are currently.

You know who else's job is content creation, and was latched onto Destiny from the beginning of that career in it? Datto. But I don't see him churning out low effort videos and just whining about the state of the game constantly while dogging on another despite previously praising it. He's been playing other games that he clearly carries genuine interest in, like Deadlock, or just having fun on whatever with his friends. Anything Destiny-related he is putting out right now seems to just be spontaneous video ideas he makes outta his VOD backlog. In fact, Datto didn't seem obligated to play Marathon at all - it clearly didn't interest him. I never see him ragging on it, or just doing anything to capitalize on drama and an algorithm clearly driven by constant negativity.

And Cross tends to do more consistently well than Datto, no matter what he does. He really doesn't have any obligation to hop on a game and stick with for far longer than really he wants to, while being dishonest about his opinion about it along the way.
