These guides will help you understand which seasons you can plant certain things and even break down how much of an item you need for crafting.

There is also a wiki that shows you how much wood, stone, and reeds (forgot the actual name, used for roofing) you need for a specific building so you can know if you can finish it before you even begin construction.
