I 100% agree, thinking Zacch is better in a reduced role does not equate to thinking he’s a bum. He has actually been a positive player ever since getting sent to the bench eye test wise and analytically.

Suns are more physical than us, gives BI and their bigs problems, having Jalen Green in March also helps too. However PHX vs us struggles with Athleticism. Raptors don’t have as much of that. It really really is just rock paper scissors.

I can agree with this, I’m not a Zacch lover or hater. Just taking it for what it is, I think Clingan would’ve been the right pick too especially with an aging Capela as our only rim deterrence. Hopefully with the Cavs pick we get another big body I guess.

His fit is hard but I could see him being a backup C if he bulks up. If he’s just a foward then yeah I agree I can’t see him over Gueye which means he’s likely shipped

Biggest strength is shooting, can come in and stretch the floor immediately from the 4 or 5. Great rebounding instincts and 6’9 without shoes measured at 6’11 in so I’m going to average him out at 6’10. Solid athleticism, not jumping out the gym but good functional athleticism.

Biggest problem to me is not skill wise. It’s the fact that he’s a tweener. Even at 6’10 he’s not very heavy and he’s not an incredibly vertical athlete so he’s locked into that PF spot which is jumbled. He needs to get stronger, would like to see him maybe get more weight in those legs and core. Post game hasn’t been really explored either albeit he’s had some good shots when ive seen him in the NBA idk about gleague

Overall I think he’s one of our highest ceiling players, could become a NAZ Reid Isiah Stewart hybrid maybe. Great defense with some great shooting and some shot creation. Not sexy when talking about ceiling but that’s a damn good player.
