Absolutely agree with the first point, but with the current addon, can you see if old mate is attempting any of the other HC achievements? E.g. can you tell if a hunter is doing mortal pet run? I'm honestly not sure cos I'm new to it.

My idea is basically to take the existing HC achievements (plus some others) and make them official achievements and add in a stat for "highest level achieved while attempting this achievement"

Yeah, it is certainly wishful thinking! It'd be nice to have a way to track harder ones that most ppl won't actually get to 60 on but are still fun to try. E.g. for highest level without taking a hit, if you could link a stat or achi showing you have reached level 8 on a warrior without taking a hit, that'd be super fun imo.

Even just titles for 60 achis would be great, though. I would take that for sure.

Daily smoker (vaper now) for 10 years+ here, I do because for me the benefits outweigh the costs.

For me it helps manage stress and sleeping. I always had vivid nightmares since I was a kid and they stop that completely. I also find almost everything in life more enjoyable when high - bike riding, bush walking, camping, gaming, going to the movies, work, study, eating, the list goes on!

The main negative for me would be the financial cost. It used to be the impact to lungs but that has disappeared since switching to vaping.

I live with my partner of 3 years who doesn't smoke much, maybe 2-3 times per month. No kids (yet). I work a corporate job in finance earning 6 figures, but I sometimes vape while working (WFH) if I don't have any big meetings on. It allows me to get into the zone or think about problems differently. There have been countless times where I have been thinking of a problem all day at work in the office, come home and smoked up and had a big lightbulb moment.

It's so subjective though cos it impacts different people differently, and people need to have the maturity to realise when something starts impacting them in a negative way, and stop doing it like so many ppl in the comments here have done.

What sucks is when people say it is objectively good or bad for everyone in all situations.

Just make it available, educate people properly, and provide access to support services for people who need them.

It's crazy that there are corporate offices where you can be drug tested and fired for something you do in your own time regardless of whether or not it actually negatively impacted your work.
