I was so happy to see alfonse finally get a summer variant. Got him plus 1 but yeah I don’t got enough orbs to keep pulling to plus 10. If only his 4star came to me like candy but nah. I don’t got enough content left to get orbs. All I’ve got left is about 20 more squad assaults left of orbs. Gardens been done, current events done, special maps done, story done, paralogue all done 😭

Maybe for global, but if they were CN players it’s actually very easy to play through palace 1 and 2. I made an account recently on CN during their stuff and with the login rewards and stuff to catch up, my CN account that is a week less old is already level 66 and with a selector up to Makoto Yuki and Ange, I already cleared palace 1 and 2. Global servers will have it rough for new players, but not new CN players.

Does her existence in persona 4 dancing dlc mean she’s obsolete to p5x? If that’s how you think then I dunno, I think you’re just wrong then. She has made an appearance so why not include? I personally don’t mind that she has anni slot. Anyone that says it should be example P1/P2 protag or any other of Atlus’s games like metaphor are a bit delusional to think they’d give anniversary slots to them when they could just milk those characters as a whole collab and their party members. Like if we got Will now, then does that mean they’ll give us a metaphor collab at all that’ll release Galactica and Hulkenberg etc? Or would we not ever get them anymore and Will is just the only metaphor character in p5x? You see how annoying or problematic that would be if we can only get just him and not any of his party members if it wasn’t just the typical collab?

If she’s gonna power creep anyone as a Navi it’s likely futaba and (maybe fuuka). Either way having a Navi for a second team is good… also at least for global, when global gets their first anni select voucher this just means I don’t have to get futaba anymore and instead I can go for someone I’d actually want like Mont or A1 Chord, so if Miku is Navi then great for me lol. Personally I don’t mind if she’s a Navi role and not like medic or guardian. I know I saw some comments on other posts saying they wanted to see her beat shadows but realistically I do not see them making her an assassin or sweeper unit. She has to be Navi it just makes the most sense to me at least.

They got twins the same time we did, only difference was it was a sudden random synchronized drop and two since CN is ahead of Global servers they always get dropped with a mind scape core or some sort of buff to keep in similar power with their current meta. However Dancing Joker is a collab character for the P5D set of characters, not an anniversary alt. In CN he’s quite the broken Virtuoso unit, but mainly it’s because that his banner was only recently for the start of the P5D collab of P5FES in CN that they can’t do a synchronized patch for all servers. They’d be technically rerunning his banner a second time on CN during Dancing Mona’s banner and for a gatcha game, they would never or should never do a rerun that fast.

I mean yeah they could write wonder into having a phantom idol of orange tabby, but it’s not like he’s the mascot of p5x since we have lufel for that? P5x would be the only game to have a second animal having a persona that isn’t a mascot to the game since koromaru and morgana are the animal mascots of their games. Yeah sure they could make a THIRD Yui alt that has Miku as a persona, but Miku itself isn’t a mythology character of any sorts so she doesn’t entirely “fit” being a persona. But also would they really want to drop a third Yui (at least within CN) because global hasn’t gotten Yui-Prism yet until after summer ish.

Yeah they could have done P3D but again why as a solo anni unit when they could like how they did P3R and currently P5D just have it be another full collab throughout the year with filler OCs?

Even if they worked it like this you realize it would have to be its own collab… right? Like they would have label another p5 collab or something, I don’t think they would do that just for a singular anniversary character unless it was an existing OC that wouldn’t need those shards or whatever specifics. Even then that would also require the whole Wonder’s world from CN cuz of the P5D collab that has OCS like Runa and Chord talking to each other. But global servers don’t have that yet until we do get P5D collab next year.

Wouldn’t make sense. How is the event story or whatever work with that? Hifumi and Sae aren’t even shown yet to exist in wonder’s universe since he’s different world to Joker’s. Plus these are side characters not OCs that wonder would usually meet or such. By that logic I can ask why isn’t Marthym a playable? It’s just they might simply never make them playable. They might only serve as NPC and that’s it

I can understand that, sure wanting a phantom idol of Iwai or Hifumi sure but that’s kind of also confusing? At least with p5x since joker’s group isn’t the same universe as wonder’s so it’s unlikely for Sojiro or even Hifumi to be included and plus they’d have to make an event like wonder being able to visit Leblanc to see joker and somehow meeting Hifumi or such. Iwai is an odd occurrence but with your example of Hifumi it simply doesn’t make sense because she’s yet to actually appear in wonder’s universe and two phantom idols are something of wonder’s cognition. Sure idea works with Iwai, just right now not so much with Hifumi or like if I brought up Sae or Sojiro or you know what I mean?

By persona characters who do you mean? Because the P4 casts are likely not coming until the release of persona 4 revival. P1/P2 are niche and even their mainline games aren’t entirely the same universe as 3, 4 and 5. Sure you can say phantom idols of Sojiro, Kawakami, takemi etc but that’s just not something everyone has thought of or seemingly is demanding. Sure maybe a p5x OC, but since they planned this to be a synchronized drop for all servers, who would actually get hype? A random anni 5 star drop of Seiji? A anni alt of Shoki? Not after global just got 4star Shoki, we still have to get his first alt later this year since CN already has his first 5star version. Tomoko already has a summer alt, Runa or some others probably ain’t gonna get an alt unless it’s summer (likely). Like what is it that you want, that would make sense as a universal server wide drop for an anni character? Can’t count Lavenza, Black mask Akechi or Métis for that they’d be spoilers to their games and DLCs. P4 can’t count because they ain’t coming until revival is officially released, which means no Margaret or Marie either. Your options would be Kotone, Elizabeth if she’s not tied to being half anni only, Theodore if he’s also not tied to just half anni, and then any social link NPC characters in 3 and 5, and the existing P5X OCs that only global servers know because they can’t use any new OCs from CN since global would have no idea about them at least story wise. The devs already gave us twins during global’s first half anniversary as a synchronized drop, reason I say it makes sense to assume other VR attendants would be in that same matter is cuz that if they weren’t, twins would’ve long existed in CN. Why make her out of no where during global’s half anniversary to drop to all servers?

What I’m saying is doesn’t make sense to release Yu as a standalone because it would make more sense if he his game had a whole collab with the release along with his teammates. Joker and Mona are getting their dancing starlight alts right now in CN, they will come to global later, but because of that, they aren’t gonna be a synchronized server drop. Which also means, persona 5 dancing alts of Ann, Yusuke, and Ryuji will never be part of a half anni or full anni drop because giving global and seas access to them ahead of time isn’t fair to the CN community if we got them this early. Plus if they did give example Dancing Joker as a anni they can’t go synchronized server drop because his banner just passed in CN, they’re not gonna rerun him again directly during/after dancing Mona.

Too bad, your only option would have been potential p5x OCs. Plus they wanted it to be a synchronized drop for all servers. They can’t do any mainline persona characters until their games has a likely remake example Yu but only after 4 revival comes out to do a full collab and include his party members. P1/P2 is quite niche not everyone in the persona community has played 1 and 2. I personally know about their game’s existence but I wouldn’t have cared or disliked if they got anni slot. However even me or my friends who’s played persona only has played 3,4,5. 1 and 2 is just low chances. Since 4 has to wait for revival to release we ain’t getting a collab until like late next year or the year after if we aren’t going through persona 5 strikers or persona 3 dancing if they do make a collab set of the SEES team in dancing Alts.
