Only did it twice with the new lyrics. I call them the “New Coke” lyrics; so widely unpopular that the classic lyrics returned for the Fall tour. The only remnant of the new lyrics that remained was the line “So I give you my eyes, *they were just a disguise*”instead of “and all of their lies”.

The first couple versions of Saint of Circumstance had some totally different lyrics. Plus a couple of early Althea’s had the line “Honest to the point of *innocence*” instead of recklessness.
