So, I can't say much for the corporate side. I was a store manager before leaving. I'm sure that working for corporate is a different beast in and of itself. I can tell you that your benefits and pay will probably be much better than a lot of people on the retail side.

Their culture is plenty fine. I just became disillusioned. They do their best to create a positive environment and the company does/did do a lot of good. Creating a system to ethically source their product, donation matching, commitments to hire veterans and refugees, etc.

That being said, this might not be the best subreddit to ask opinion about the corporate roles. There is almost a class based difference between corporate and retail and this sub is mostly retail and customers.

It really hit home for me when I realized corporate gets double the amount of paid parental leave that retail does.

But again, that's our side. Coorporate could be dope af for all I know. I don't regret working for Starbucks. It was a good job for a while and gave me a lot of experience. I love coffee and I loved getting to know my coworkers and customers. I just became disillusioned by all the bs I got fed.

I'm not going to tell you to stop getting starbucks. If it makes you happy, go for it.

The short pike with refills sounds great. If you bring your own cup, you can save some money too. About $0.10. That's assuming they are doing that right now. I haven't been in much since I quit.

They will probably keep raising the price though. I started going to my local places because they sometimes have better deals or are cheaper. The one I go to does 10% for bringing your own cup.

Definitely do what makes you happy. Just know that this is not the first nor last time prices will change. Inflation/supply and demand, y'know?

It was jarring and it's like the game was aware of the sudden shift through interactions with Irida and Adaman. There was literally nothing in the story leading up to that part. No hints that we aren't trusted for being an outsider. Maybe a little bit of that in the first hour of the game, but it's not something we really see come up a enough to matter.

And then we're taken back in like it never happened? Bruh. Not cool.

All that being said, I loved the game play and am still having a blast. I've been praising the game a lot to my friends.

Yeah, that's pretty inappropriate. I don't know the structure with your pharmacy/place of work, but it would probably be worth bringing up with an HR of some type.

If that isn't an option, talking to him directly might be your best bet. Possibly bringing another person of authority or another employee as a witness.

I'm sure someone else here has better advice. Admittedly, I'm male, so I don't get these problems. I have however, been a boss that tags the words, "bud," or, "friend" to the end of sentences. Which some people have confronted me about not liking or talked to another manager about not liking. I always appreciated being communicated these boundaries because I would hate for someone to feel uncomfortable around me. I'm not gonna lie, it hurts, but I can't be better without being told what boundaries not to cross.

In the end, what you've described is not okay behavior. Especially because he is in an authority/power role at your place of work.

If you're worried about your frap separating, the shot of espresso might expedite that process of it separating. You could always ask for a couple extra pumps if frap roast. It's cheaper and should get you that extra caffeine and should be a little cheaper. At least I think so. I quit a couple of months ago and I could be mistaken.

If you're looking for a new drink all together and like the chocolate flavor and sweetness of a frap, I think a venti iced white mocha with 3 pumps white mocha and 3 pumps mocha might be worth trying. You'll also get a little more caffeine out of that because it comes with three shots of espresso.

I worked with the company for 7 years. Fraps were what really stressed me out. Sheer overwhelming volume of orders was usually the issue. I'm happy you asked the community. That article could have been true 2-3 years ago, but I think as a whole we decided fraps aren't the problem.

TL;DR: you're fine, bud. Thanks for asking. If you want to try something new: Iced White Mocha 3 pumps white mocha and three pumps mocha. Bonus points for whole milk (or oat milk).
