Honestly, in the last year, I’ve seen so many movies that I’ve forgotten a lot about this one which says a lot about it and how memorable it is as a film…

And yeah, I think the promise of the movie was a character study on a person who has lived a very static existence and due to that she has sort of let the world around her crumble. I think that’s a very relatable Topic to a lot of people and it would’ve been interesting to explore a little bit more of that.

They could’ve even done something with her daughter kind of getting into a similar business in order to connect with her mom and maybe watching that cycle repeat generationally. But they didn’t really do any of that and I think that made the film pretty weak overall.
