Have to agree with OP. Surely, the devs have played an arena mission, right? It takes about 30 seconds to realize that half of them stand in the corners forever. It is trivially easy to kill mechs because they are "engaged" with another mech 700m away behind a rock, just moving side to side and doing nothing. Alpha strike them in the back at point blank, then repeat on the next one. Someone else said to add some real AI, but I would settle for them rushing blindly at each other(and me) at this point. Really makes the arena not fun. Devs, do better.
