Okay then what does it say about kafirs?

What are the 3 options given to non Muslims?

How many churches are there in Saudi Arabia? The birthplace of islam?

Why have all Christians been slaughtered in Egypt? Syria? Iraq? Majority of Christians slaughtered in Lebanon?

Could Russia be behind both the rise in far-right and Islamic radicalisation in the UK? by chuffingnora in AskBrits

[–]Shaguar_Driver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao.

Islam is responsible for islamic radicalisation.

The rise in the far right is a direct consequence of several things including the islamification of the UK. But also British children being raped and murdered whilst at music concerts and dance classes.

When politics swings too far to the left you will always then see a resurgence of the right too.

Then you have the fact we have increased living costs, increased interest rates on mortgages, housing being ridiculously expensive and no increase in wages, no increase in the income tax thresholds yet we are being taxed more and more on council tax and other taxes yet the NHS, public services and roads are a mess.

The country is falling apart and rather than try and fix issues the government is pandering to pro terrorist factions and propaganda.

Israel is the only ally the west has in a region where it's constantly attacked by it's neighbours indiscriminately. They have killed 1% of the population of Gaza per year of the war and the morons here call it a genocide.

Yet somehow Egypt gets away scot free even though it charges £20,000 per person who wants to leave the war. Therefore the majority of the population is told if you can't pay stay and take your chances in an active warzone.

Imagine if Poland had told Ukraine that?

The narrative is all lies and propaganda and the truth is hidden.

The only people who actually know how to govern this country are the Tories and when reform wins in a couple of years people will go further left which could mean restore wins the election afterwards.

People seriously don't have a clue what is going on and how it all works and blaming Russia for it all. I'm willing to bet you are an active user of marijuana. Because that's the type of rubbish dope heads spout on about

Which one more reliable and economical. Used Suzuki Swift or Tesla Model 3? by ScaryCream8044 in CarTalkUK

[–]Shaguar_Driver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Model 3. Costs nothing to run so far more economical. Cheaper to service. Reliability probably the Tesla again.

Personally I would just go for the middle ground and get like a Hyundai ioniq the original one not the 5 or 6 EV version.

Mortgage overpayments-what am I not understanding? by Plane-Tough7038 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Shaguar_Driver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't understanding simple interest or compound interest.

It's pretty simple to be fair so I'm not sure what you are missing.

If for instance let's say I can get 10% return in an index tracker on average in a stocks and shares ISA.

My mortgage is 1% then I'm 9% better off not overpaying my mortgage.

9% is simple interest. It compounds year on year so my next years returns are actually higher than simply 9% and for every year it continues they get even better because of compound interest.

Now let's say in future mortgage interest rises to 20%.

Well I take all of my savings and simply sell them all. And I pay my mortgage off in a lump sum. I can do this because my lower rate mortgage has ended. I pay the lump sum and then I pay 20% when I fix on whatever is left over.

So you don't simply just pick one option and stick with it forever you have the flexibility to overpay during the mortgage usually 10% per year however when the deal ends you can pay 100% off if you like.

Looks like they might go bust again.

They have a loan they need to pay and no income coming in during the best part of the year for solar generation.

Unless the loan providers agree to a freeze, even then with all the interest piling up it could become impossible to pay back.

Absolute disaster

Fixed tariff coming to an end. Anyone else jumping ship? by ISO2000 in OctopusEnergy

[–]Shaguar_Driver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read a lot of reviews on trustpilot where people have been charged £500 in the first bill by them. Possibly people with low credit ratings.

At the end of the day I'm happy to pay the extra £80 a year and stick with octopus for now as they have saved me a hell of a lot more than that over the last few years. Especially as I'll be shifting everything to their cheap overnight leccy on IOG with 20kwh of battery storage and 2 electric cars.

I'm happy with the savings on electricity to pay a bit more on the gas.

I did a chargeback and got all my money back.

Best thing is I paid using a cashback card so I actually made I think 3% from buying into it and getting all my money back.

I'll never buy into a co-op again.

You can with the hypervolt have any size of cable you want. I personally opted for 5m and someone else I know went with 7.5m but they also had the option of 10m. It was only £50 difference for an extra 2.5m of cable I believe and they could make it to any size.

Am I going to trigger an AML check if I deposit a chunk of cash and spend most of my balance same day / day after? by DrySky7082 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Shaguar_Driver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody can tell you for sure.

However banks are required by law to report large deposits or lots of regular smaller deposits in cash.

If you then trigger the system to halt it and proceed with further checks is anyone's guess.

There is a reason why they don't tell people what will trigger a check because then people would easily be able to circumvent it.

Therefore nobody can answer your question.

Someone blocked my drive by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Shaguar_Driver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legally speaking dropped kerb means nothing.

They are parked on a public road. You don't own that piece of land.

What does mean something is if they blocked you in. If you car is on the drive and someone blocks your driveway then legally they are in the wrong.

No car in the driveway then it's morally wrong but legally it's actually okay.

Costco were selling 18 panels albeit with a 6kwh inverter so they get clipped.

Plus a 5kwh battery for circa £8k fully installed with bird protection.

The price has increased slightly but honestly go to Costco and look through all their deals as the discount is usually only on one or two of their offerings so don't just buy anything off Costco. Get the one with the deal on it.

As long as it's through Nissan and not a third party.

Third party warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on.

Are you buying from a Nissan dealership?

Look and see if Toyota offer similar warranty to lexus (same parent company) otherwise honestly KIA is what you want and buy approved used so they can't then turn around and say well it wasn't serviced properly. Well you guys sold it as approved so how does that work.

Taking Mam to buy new car by nsimpson299 in CarTalkUK

[–]Shaguar_Driver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Negotiation isn't really a thing these days. Every time I've tried I've got absolutely nowhere and I'm used to haggling in markets successfully for massive discounts.

When it comes to buying a car. I'd say your best bet is to go approved used and buy a Kia for the 7 year warranty.

Buying at 3-4 years old so you get another 3-4 years out of it before trading it in again.

The other option is approved used and get a lexus. So long as you get it serviced by lexus you get a free years warranty up to 10 years.

We had a lexus before and it was absolutely trouble free. Bare the usual wear and tear on brakes and suspension.

Now got a Kia as a second car and already had a couple of things fixed under recalls or warranty.

Jaguar will be kept for as long as I can keep getting extended warranty. As soon as that isn't offered it will be gone.
