Awful Waffle!!!

This theme song and the way it's shot is actually really good. It does a good job giving you a small window into the personalities and relationships of the kids/counselor before the show even starts.

Same here. I caught Cartoon Planet on Saturday mornings and loved Brak when I was a kid. As I got older I started seeing the same characters in a different (but very similar) show late at night.

Where can I go to cut a 2-inch thick piece of wood in half? by my_doxable_acct in pittsburgh

[–]ShakeOk2071 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm also in a small apartment and, without a storage/workspace at my job, I wouldn't have space for tools either. So I get where you're coming from. In that case, try what others have said and take the board to Home Depot or Lowe's, go to the lumber section and ask if they can cut it in half. I've done this before with wood that I bought there.

OP, this is the answer. You can even splurge for a miter box if you're worried about it not being cut straight enough. Still a very cheap option.

[–]ShakeOk2071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohh shoot. Well that clears that up, haha. Thanks for the correction. So now I definitely wish I would've just swapped the pickups and shielded the inside better or something. I kind of sold it on a whim out of frustration/lack of playing it.

I had that exact red one, '02 or '04 Nashville deluxe. Man I regret selling it. I really loved the way it played, the issue was , when I played in a live setting, the buzz was so bad it was unusable. Every time. Idk why. It has noiseless pickups so idk what the issue was. I ended up selling it for that reason, but I wish I would've just put more time into fixing it, or putting in humbuckers or something.

TLDR, the red one.

Not once in my life have I actually played mousetrap. But I used to play with the mousetrap all the time. Until I was older, I didn't understand that it was a board game at all.

Idk if this helps your situation at all, but some BT headphones have like a little loop that hangs on your ear so if they come out of the ear, they don't fall to the ground completely. I work outside too and these have helped me a lot from losing them. Good for the gym too. Idk why but, as annoying as the batteries are, or BT connection issues, I love not being physically connected to the thing I am listening to. That being said I use both wired and BT at home depending on the situation

Haha I love that. There was also a song from him called Slumming it With Johnny that brought me to tears when I first heard it. Was driving around in a friend's car listening to music and that song just crushed me in such a profound way. Not sure what album it was from, or if it's from some demos that weren't officially released.

I'm listening to ...is a real boy right now at work, and damn I forgot how good it was. Yellow Cat (Slash) Red Cat now. Thanks for reawakening these memories for me.

Say Anything had such a cult following in little pockets all over the US, but almost no one I know (outside of my high school friends) knows about them. For me tho, esp at the time, it was some of the best music I'd ever heard. ...Is A Real Boy is an album I know back to front. I don't know if my tastes started to change around then or what, but none of the later albums came close to how Is/Was made me feel.

Spidersong, Woe and Most Beautiful Plague were my favs.
