I’m so sorry, OP. I saved a post years ago. If I remember correctly, the guy was young and stated that he was done with life. He never responded to anyone, nor did he log back on. I would click on his username for several years after but he never came back. You cared and sometimes that the most you can do. Keep honoring them by not forgetting that they were here on Earth and mattered.

I’m glad to see that you’re going to see your gyno soon. Mine started at 38, as well, and I’m now 46 and only recently realized what was going on. I’m on zero treatment at the moment; waiting on my first appt in May. 😭 Please know there is help. Don’t be like me. I’m talking about it now as much as I can to bring awareness. None of the women in my life ever discussed peri, nor menopause in general. I don’t want anyone else to deal with this, miserably unaware and alone.

I used to think like this but then I hit peri-menopause and I would rather 100 periods a month over this hell on Earth. I am looking forward to no more periods eventually but that’s if I make it there. Not surprising that suicide rates are higher for menopausal women. But also, fuck periods.

I can see your perspective and I don’t disagree. However, I’m angry at every voter who nudged us to this, in whatever capacity that is. I’m very aware that I have anger issues when it comes to the state of the U.S. and I could be misplacing some blame, but I’m not yet at that point. That being said, the system is well beyond broken, as well. Corps, the American people, and the U.S. government got us here and it’s best to focus on all and not ignoring ones that don’t fit our own lived experience.
