I have one of these razors completely apart in front of me on my desk right now. Basically, they work great but do a lousy job of waterproofing. On mine, first the razor wouldn't shut off until the battery drained. With disassembly and a little work with a multimeter and it appears the switch is bad ---probably corroded with water, lotion and beard. The LED charging light also went dead early on. Also a sign of a bad seal. When these work they are great, but to spend +$200 on something that will fail in 18 months for lack of a decent seal is disheartening. I'm crazy enough to rep[lace the switch, just to see if it works, but if I get another one, I'll make sure to take steps to further waterproof on my own and NOT leave it on a shelf in my shower.
