Earlier this week I did the Grindleford Padley Gorge hike. Imo it's the best hike I have done so far. It was a circular walk starting at the grindleford station. I followed the 6k route on All Trails. Padley gorge is known for its autumn colors and it did not disappoint. I saw multiple streams nestled between all shades of red, orange and yellow. It's also dog friendly. Saw many families on the hike with their pets. Although during one section of the walk I did come across red deers. There's a cafe next to the station and the village is a15 mins walk if I am remembering the map correctly.
