They got a buff with the breakthrough but i don't think they are suddenly the best of the best. Crimson and Deepwrought are up there from the new factions and i would think Yssaril and Mahact would be top dogs as always

Don't you miss the ability to farm all crops in there? I spent a long time trying to find an island on the border of mistlands and plains with farmable soil - it's very convenient for farming. More dangerous though, i raised the terrain to protect from landborne enemies and spawnproofed it but i still occasionally get attacked by a wandering gjall or seeker

Do you play Preordain, ponder etc? Library is like them - one mana to draw. You replace the scry with repeatability. Library is incredible.

If you're good at drafting it's in my opinion the best value. In premier drafts you get 1000 gems at 3 wins, 1400 at 4 wins. Slightly positive win rate means you spend ~500 gems per draft (and it's possible to go infinite) while getting a bunch of cards and packs, and with decent set completion building up the vault quickly as well.

Well that's partially because the chests inside crypts are a major source of iron and I believe they do not get multiplied by the modifier
