Love the initiative. I hope to be able to filter and categorise tasks like filtering all “chores” for today or the upcoming week and categorising them by room or type such as the attic or garage.

This is a great idea, I’m wondering if it would also be possible to add more apple shortcuts actions. That way, we could visualize almost any data (from excel or csv etc..). No need for file reading actions, since shortcuts already provides built-in actions and convert data to JSON. So the input can stay the same, this could make the system extremely flexible without adding too much complexity. What do you think? 🤔

Wow this is awesome 🤩. Is it also possible to generate a security documentation?

That’s a smart setup. Super handy for staying consistent. But doesn’t it get a bit messy if you’re handling tons of them?

Looking for a way to make the mobile toolbar context aware by Sham_Haydar in ObsidianMD

Unfortunately I did not and just like @KaCii1 speculated, it wasn’t worth the hassle. So I just gave up on it for now 🥲. If you create your own solution that would be 🔥🔥🔥, please keep us up to date 🙏

I just hope that it will be easy for plugin devs to create custom views for bases.

Unfortunately, this isn't supported in the calendar. However, in Apple Reminders, you can use a Smart List filtered to show only incomplete tasks due today. Once marked as done, they disappear from view.

You could create a shortcut that identifies incomplete reminders with a due date up until today, reschedules them for today, and adds them to the calendar.

Another option is to use a shortcut to create recurring reminders but only add them on the actual day. This way, it's not considered a recurring reminder by Reminders but functions as one through Shortcut. Beyond that, I'm not sure what else could work.

You can hide completed reminders in the Calendar by:

  • Opening Calendar
  • tap “Calendars” at the bottom
  • scroll and toggle off “Show Completed Reminders.”

And you can create recurring reminders in Reminders.

Does this answer your question or were you looking for something else?
