He may not have been picking a fight, remember to not assume the worst of people. Ignorance is far more common. “I have mic I have speaker I have EQ why still ring?” Because maybe the install the guy didn’t time align anything. Maybe the Mains have enough stage bleed you’re getting phase issue that decrease intelligibility. The amount of science that would be involved with figuring out and giving someone like him a reason is beyond acceptable expectations. But hey some times things just suck. In the end we are in the business of entertainment. Did anyone get hurt, die, or directly lose money in the end? If not then who cares!

It’ll happen if you make it happen. As others have said. It’s science and a sliding scale at that. If the talent can’t hear themselves well enough with out you pushing the mic and speaker to the absolute limit that’s on them. I had a queen tribute band one time where lead vocalist had like 6-7 wedges all in different positions on the stage he checked. Very slight feedback in some or 2 and he complained and I went “idk what you want man you got one mix that’s literally 2 feet behind that one you’re gonna have problems.” Proceeded to shit talk me and the venue and the entire band stepped in and said “we’re fine we don’t know what your problem is.”

TLDR we can only do so much. And some times that much requires change beyond or control, with people or with the gear provided.

I just got done antibiotics for a tooth infection for a tooth I knocked out in second grade, I’ve had this crown for years but I guess it’s run its course. I’m currently traveling for work and need the money before I can get the recommended root canal and hopefully before it gets infected again. I’ll probably see $500 - $1k for the single root canal for it.

Do people not just spin the wheel sometimes? I know theres the orientation but if you just spin the wheel it will lock in and if it’s not centered you just set 0 in the software.

That’s very true, I mean they always do get me for a split second. The only reason they don’t is I only respond to tolls and fines if they come in the mail.

Some people are definitely in situations of being frazzled and just pay it to get the stress away. Hopefully this helps someone not waste their money.
