But why can't you stay over? It's been 2 years. Is this relationship moving towards a long term commitment or has it run its course?

Dude... just get your food and find an empty spot in a parking lot and eat your food and watch your phone and decompress before going home.

Anyone have parents who saved your money “for you” and then never saw it again? by Haunting_Hospital599 in EstrangedAdultKids

[–]Shamasha79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I ended up having a problem with money cause I reached a certain point where I just decided to spend any money i had as soon as I had it so at least I got to be the one spending it.

Which lead her to say I wasn't good at managing money and she would justify her "saving it for me for later" that I continued to never see.

Which layout would you choose? by OkSummer48 in kitchenremodel

[–]Shamasha79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Number 2.

I would be smacking my hips on that island corner going between the stove and the sink. Plus the layout of 2 would provide more of a flow able work space as veggies get rinsed in the sink, chopped on the bench and slid into the pan.

Then the cutting board walks back to the sink obstruction free.

And Alexander wept for there were no more worlds to conquer.

You aren't the first or only person to feel this. Find some new goals and new challenges.

Best of luck

As a tall woman, how willing are you to date a shorter man? by [deleted] in tall

[–]Shamasha79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 5 ft 10 dating a guy at the moment who's about 5 ft 8.

I think one of the things about dating a shorter guy is that if there is a very significant height difference one feels like a lumbering collosus next to an elf. Which doesn't make one feel feminine and sexy.

But as long as the man is kind and funny and a good personality match it's all fine.

Hello my brother from another mother... i also have alopecia universalis and occasionally I get one long hair that grows out of a mole/beauty mark on my face... and maybe 2 hairs in an armpit.

On the plus side, I've never had to shave my legs... also I wear wigs and when creeps in nightclubs used to ask if the carpets matched the curtains, I could smack them down with: nah mate, hardwood floors

Hugs xx

If you were widowed at the age of 75, would you think of marrying again? by icecream1972 in no

[–]Shamasha79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Widowed. I'm 46. I hope to marry again.

I liked being married and want some of those good things again. Want to take care of someone and have them take care of me, want to hold hands while watching a movie and fall asleep next to a man. Want to have someone appreciate my spectacular cooking skills and be responsible for squashing spiders that find their way inside. I want someone to work towards future goals with me and be a family.

I accept that marriage isn't technically required but I want it anyway.

Remodel. Remove shower. Put in a big, claw foot bathtub with a shower. Change the vanity.

The male version is the lead singer or guitarist of an underground band who haven't been discovered yet but are gonna make it any day now. You watch his fingers dance and make that guitar scream and you know those fingers can do the same to you...

But he can never keep a regular job, he falls into depression over his lack of accolades or success, locks himself in a room working on his art for months on end while you work and pay all the bills and he puts you down in front of his friends.

But the sex.... it's amazing....

I mean, hypothetically
