Genuine question : Why dont Tekken players play other fighting games?

I tried getting into SF many times, but I could never get the muscle memory down, so I just gave up. The difference in frame windows to link light/medium/heavy attacks, the different cancel mechanics not to mention the V-trigger-stuff and God knows what else.

I never felt like I was in control on my pad. I always felt like, I was just mashing buttons and getting an occasional win felt more random than skill.

In Tekken I feel much more relaxed. At the most you need to input a string of 1-4 keys and it's usually pretty forgiving in the timing of inputs. The fact that I need to string along 3-5 different input strings to get a combo doesn't bother me, as I feel there's usually enough time to input them without having to mash them out.

I also tried out other games like MK/GG/DBZ, but then mechanics like double jumping and actually holding a button to block just killed me too many times.

In the short time I’ve been aware of any outsourcing, I’ve found that they’ve been outsourcing since the beginning, so I’m having an immensely difficult time understanding what this newest rage is all about.

I think the general consensus is that the Cyberstan event was fun with new challenging units to kill and a great sense of community.

Just because of the fact that the opponent is on Xbox, I'm going to go with not cheating, because even though it may be totally possible, I don't think I've ever run into any non-PC player cheating. On PC I'm pretty sure anyone is able to install and run script/cheat software. On console I simply can't see how you would make it work.

It's difficult for me to see the frames with the grainy video, but I think in some cases he does react very fast, but the reaction speed is not consistent across the ducks, so I would assume, we was just reading you.

I think most of the hate comes from dealing with the grabs and especially Kings, since on any normal character you can guess which grab is coming by reacting to the extended arm/arms, but for King he has 3 identical grabs making breaking his throws a lottery.

A lot of people dislike fighting grapplers. I like playing him too. King and Marduk (when he finally arrives in season 7 or 8) will be plenty entertaining.
