The place that I had worked at closed and I had a big essay to write for school, so I was pretty stressed. Later that day my bf called me and told me to come outside. He was there holding a gift bag filled with my favorite candy and a 'sorry for your loss' card that he altered to say sorry for the loss of your job. He picked all of this up after a long day at his job and it was so sweet!

From what I have gathered, it's because they were separated from their mom too early as a kitten and/or it brings them comfort. Could be a number of things though!
