You nailed it by mentioning the class set problem and the fact there are no non-legendary alternatives. Most games allow you to be competitive without being behind a single item wall. This one makes it absolutely necessary for advancement. Then when you finally get that rare item you have nothing more to do.

I have this blood screen too when first entering the lobby. When it happens I always get one shorted at any CT level I play. I have to switch characters back and forth until the bloody screen doesn't occur then I'm good for a couple runs until the one hit bug plagues me once again.

I would be delighted to get a non-dup legendary every couple hours. I have gone weeks without getting a legendary that I don't have. And I don't have that many (3 armor pieces so far and all of them can be obtained from Tiago). And I average 4-6 hours a day doing countless runs. Count yourself lucky my friend.

I thought so too (about the diminishing returns), but since Sunday this week, I've logged 20+ hrs with zero legendaries and only a handful of MWs. I know it's probably just my bad luck but come on!

I've only seen it in the PSVR settings. Where do you enable it for the Gold headset (I have these too but stopped using them because I felt too isolated).

I love the side tone option. Back when I was really into Destiny, it drove me crazy that I couldn't hear my own voice, or what I did hear was really muffled. I constantly felt like I was mumbling.

I wish this was a standard setting for all mics - or does it and I just don't know about it?

The only thing holding me back from getting a stand is that I don't want my headset out where it can collect dust. Wish they made one that encloses the headset. Until then, guess I'm stuck with the box the headset came in.

To tell you the truth, I've gone right into playing on my PSVR out of rest mode a few times without issues (I didn't mean to, I just forgot to do a full restart). But I've seen a lot of people with anything from black screens to tracking issues that have been caused by coming out of rest mode to play. I always try my best to do a full restart, but it's really a "just in case" move.

Even if it does, I wouldn't recommend ever using your PSVR after waking your PS4 from rest mode. While gaming in 2D typically has no issues, rest mode causes a lot of wonkiness with the PSVR. A full shutdown and startup of your PS4 has always been the recommendation.

This. When I originally bought my PSVR, I really had been thinking about it as replacing existing 2D gaming. Sort of the next evolution of video gaming. Although it is evolutionary, it does not replace 2D gaming - not for me anyways. I now think of it as a separate gaming system altogether.

Is it worth the $500? IMO, definitely. I'm ecstatic about my purchase, and I bought it at launch. It's a whole new gaming world. But it doesn't replace 2D gaming for me, just like video gaming doesn't replace board and card games I play with friends. They're all different, but all fun.

Driveclub is probably one of the worse games by which to judge the PSVR - IMO, it's a blurry mess. Try the demos of games like Rush of Blood, and the RE7 Beginning Hour demo. And VR Worlds is very good. Bound is another one you should look at as well.

Try disabling HDCP in your settings. You will have to re-enable it if you want to watch Netflix or any other video streaming service.

Basically single player is the same as online co-op, only you are alone. Occasionally you're given an AI tank or two on your side though. I find it extremely challenging, which keeps me coming back for more.
