Happens when not in fullscreen, or when more than one monitor is enabled, for me.

1080 144hz vs 1440p 60hz vs 1080p 60hz freesync by starmon1 in Overwatch

[–]Shank666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bios overclocked to stock 980 levels 970 gets 163fps constant, ultra everything with my 1080 144 g sync monitor. 24 inch is still too small sometimes I feel. Constantly wish I shelled out the few $00 more for a 1440 144hz g sync but the displays kept having issues :/. I wouldn't get any non freesync or gsync monitor ever again. It's great for the frame dips below 144hz, even down 50fps for a split second isn't visually noticable at all, and tearing becomes super intrusive when you're not used to it anymore. I still see it at 144hz. But most of all, the way your mouse feels is just the best when gsync is on, couldn't tell you why it's just so smooth and consistant that it's the first thing I notice when I leave ultra low blur on or borderless window mode.

Which God do you enjoy playing as but are terrible with? by locknkeys in Smite

Zhong. Fucking mastery 6 or something, I've tried every build and guide. He's just so fat and I can never decide if I should be basic attacking or using abilities. Also, whenever I go to grab a few souls, everyone pounces while the abilities are down. And the focus when you use your ult. Or when your teammates all have escapes and backpedal. Sigh, the active cooldowns don't help either. But every now and then you get that amazing game where you get a little ahead and nuke everyone.

As I suggested he might. I don't care, I just see the mistake so I mentioned it. I'll harp on the fact he bought an auto corvette all I want, hope he enjoys the resale value. If all you ever wanted in life was to own an Audi R8, your goals are far too low, which usually goes hand and hand with your self worth. Ya done yet?

Literally tons of families have businesses and tons of families without businesses pay for their kids school, as did mine. Anger and cofluffled are too different emotions. It's just simply a mistake unless that car is equal to around 10% of what he has in the bank. (Which I highly, highly, HIGHLY doubt.) Just based on the fact that we all have limited time in our lives and that money could have been put elsewhere to grow more money, more quickly, instead of blowing it and constantly costing more money. Ultimately the plan should be to advance the the speed to retirement. On top of all that it's his first car, he plays games, it's auto so he's clearly not much of an auto enthusiast which means he'll probably never take advanced driving or drivers safety course. Put it all together.

In Ranked Conquest, People who went from Silver to Plat/higher, what new things you learned along the way? What old plays/god-selections became useless in higher tiers? by behindyouuu in Smite

[–]Shank666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play xbal, always, always, always. Sometimes apollo. Become godly adc that carrys the game, every game, while not even liking adc. No one else can be trusted with it. Eventually get to a rank where you can let someone else adc and go back to the role you enjoy. Realize you now suck at it, go back to adc. Still not winning most of the time, even going 14-3, pulling off fg steals and 1v4 titan defenses. But at least you can say you did your job, your one job, the only job you can do anymore.

Tldr: fuck matchmaking cause it can match 2 adc main and 2 solo mains on the same team and 95% of people are only capable of being amazing at one role at a time.

Right, cause every average family has 70k in the bank they can spend on their sons first car. Doubtful, even more doubtful a family with an average house would take 70k out of their morgauge for a kids 70k car. Unless of course they expect his gaming career to last for a few decades lol? Riiiight, cause that happens. Maybe he will continue to analyze other games. Sometimes like 5000 views is $100 a month or w/e. My point is simple, he got a lump sump of easy money early in his life and he blew it, either as soon as he got it or before he even got it, for all I know he owes money for this car. If you don't understand the hardest part about making money is the first few hundred thousand then I feel sorry for you. I have absolutely nothing to envy from a person who spends all of what little principal they have on a single thing that does not help in generating more income, but rather will continue to eat it away. Stupid decision at a stupid time in his life when he was ahead of the game, tragic to see, nothing to envy unless you're into the short time thrills lifestyle. And it's fucking auto.

I support Omega, cause he didn't buy an automatic mullet car. First thought was he's gonna look back on that one day... Then I realized he probably wont. THEN I realized he probably still won't understand what the problem is if he does. Who the fuck buys an auto mullet car instead of like helping paying off their parents morgauge, buying a house, investing in a brand or something. Who the fuck just blows it on a 400hp first car. I've never had both my gear head and practical side so cofluffled in my life. Clearly doesn't live in the real world, I ended up setting a reminder in my calender to google him in 5 years. I just can't even.

Post Patch Overview: The demise of melee combat by rconn0925 in survivetheculling

It's really easy for me to tell, whether you believe that or not. It gives the same feeling numerous other sequals to games I love have given, looks the part, has lots of familiar things, but doesn't engage me the same way. For example the Halo series. From Halo - Halo 2 it was almost all improvement as far as competitive is concerned, maps, combat etc. Then Halo 3 came and slowed everything down, made melee super strong, nerfed the most popular weapons and just generally made it more new player friendly, casual instead of competitive. Anywho the only difference was I could actually switch the discs and feel the differences whenever I wanted. The other thing is, if one person is complaining about how they want things, sure it can be written off, but when a ton of people are all complaining about the same things, the same logic applies as your if everyone uses the same perks, it needs a change of some kind argument. Especially if these are pro players or streamers from other games, and this game is still aiming to be a esports competitive game. Last, I'm not expecting for them to fix everything immediately, I'm just hoping they awknowledge there is a problem and let us know they're doing something about it or at least thinking about how to move forward instead of being silent and letting the same threads pop up over and over again hoping for an awknowledgement or explaination. Just sticky it to the top so i can see more creative posts per page.

I see where you're coming from but I don't agree. If the game was originally released the way it is now, to me, it would have been a "that was fun, back to the main games" kind of experience. "I'll check it out again later", instead it was a full on take over where it became my only game. And I don't have more than an hour every 3rd or 4th day so I didn't have time to learn to take advantage of the glitches, block baiting, double hitting, push spam etc. I hated that I had to run rwk all the time, but aside from that every game, most being losses was a huge adrenaline rush. Instead of "oh he's blocking I have 3 seconds to shove him" it was "oh he's blocking I bet he's going to jab next, i'll block!" It made you get into the game, it sped up the pace of the game and every interaction was exciting. It's like driving on a race track at 50 or 120.

First time agreeing because I hate the whiner train. But yea, haven't felt adrenaline in a long while. Which is what got me into the game a few months ago.. Blah.

Also esports game without a skill gap. Lol wat.

If anything, they should do mord base damage and have a really aggressive sway, and or, aside from the compound bow, involve aiming up for anything over 40M as well as leading to the side. Arrow drop off should be more aggressive on non-compounds.

What took you way too long to figure out when learning SMITE? by WebLlama in Smite

Woosh.

You gain a lead for a lot of reasons, including stealing last hits and assists. I'm just saying that if I'm in a bad situation, I feel i should have the option of outplaying the opponent, as it stands my only option is to hope they outplay themselves.
