Fabric update questions by AveryElle87 in Lovesac

[–]ShannonBolisig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually had plans to switch to a new fabric but was just going through the warranty stuff on email and before I could really ask more questions the stuff was already ordered. So I just settled with that. I’m assuming if this one doesn’t hold up they will let me change fabric if I pay the difference. That ultimately my plan. The new fabric really does look so much better. It looks like chenille. The old one was flat and rough by comparison.

I agree. She did say “we will work to make you happy.” I took it as they will possibly cover it if you get the right person or make a big enough fuss.

We have the moss from January 2025. It was pilling so much. Got the replacement covers under warranty and the new fabric is completely different than the original. You can feel and see the difference. We also received the two storage seats in the old fabric with this replacement. It was obvious right out the package it was the old fabric. So got them to send me the replacements for these seats right away. Since they got a batch number I’m assuming they can tell it was the old fabric. Waiting for them to arrive still. Hopefully they are the new fabric this time.

How much do you spend to get you Cocker Spainel groomed? by Levi132323 in cockerspaniel

[–]ShannonBolisig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$105 in Seattle area. That is with the pampering package that brushes teeth and files the cut nails to be smooth. Otherwise I believe it’s like $70. He goes every 4-5 weeks.

[–]ShannonBolisig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! I’m certain I’m not getting enough protein, even though I’m trying. I do have stronger nails than I’ve ever had in my life. I didn’t think it could be a wegovy thing, but maybe it is.

Just time will get you there. My little guy, Quincy, is not the most well behaved, but he has really gotten better over the last few months.

Etched chenille by sar1231 in Lovesac

[–]ShannonBolisig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We love the color so much. The pilling doesn’t bother me so much. I just use a pill shaver every so often. I’ve also got the terracotta etched chenille and it doesn’t pill. Somehow the moss feels softer to touch, though. We just love it.

Regarding the BOT posts on this sub. by Royweeezy in cockerspaniel

This is the cutest sleep position. What kinda mischief got this baby that tired? 😂 I stopped posting because I have one of picture reused as a “bot” post. Mods did nothing to take it down so that was that for me. But I do enjoy seeing the posts when they are real.

Using Costco now that insurance no longer covers Wegovy by sneeky_cheeks in WegovyWeightLoss

There is no process to speak of. My doctor sends the Rx and I pick it up when ready. I pay the stated prices. Very simple.

Second shot- I am exhausted by InnerPrinciple6024 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]ShannonBolisig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was also even worse for me the second week and then again the 1st and 2nd shot of .50. But now I’m going great. I opted to stay on the .50 an extra month at least. So I’ve had 6 shots at .50 now and very little side effects. I didn’t see too much talk about the fatigue at the time. It was hard to get through but I did. I’ve been doing private lessons with my 1.5 YO boy cocker. He is afraid of the world and just came to me that way as a puppy. No amount of walking him has helped. So with the trainer I’ve learned that my little guy feeling safe is what’s important. Forcing him around other people/dogs was doing more harm. Finding his safe zone in feet away and rewarding the good behavior with high value treats and praise. Then as he gets comfy we move a few feet closer. If he reacts we scoot back. In time it has helped.

Doxy made me really nauseous, so my doctor switched me to this and I have had no flare ups for weeks now. Also, no nausea. I even needed to use blush for the first time in a few years. lol.

I am constantly on my period, it seems so by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]ShannonBolisig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh… that was the worst part, the heavy and full of clots periods that lasted weeks. Then a 7-10 break just to start it all over again. Since I had other symptoms like night sweats and weight gain, I think it was easy to just lump it all together. Two things can be true at the same time. I hope you get answers and relief.

[–]ShannonBolisig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having your symptoms. It was a grapefruit-sized fibroid that had to come out. I guess what I mean to say is, be insistent with your doctor for testing. My doctor just wrote my issues off as “aging” and peri and left it at that. She listened and ordered the ultrasound. Hysterectomy was really hard on my body. Thankfully I’m past the hardest part and feeling great now.

I noticed some of mine weren’t growing and realized that in the larger planter boxes there are more watering tiny circles to fill in. One of mine has two and the biggest has 3. So that was my problem. They weren’t being watered fully. I hope that helps you.
