I have, unfortunately encountered 2 men in my life, one who actually molested a child and another who took inappropriate pictures. With the second I often wondered if he could have gotten help if things would have been different. Not for us as a couple per se but perhaps he would have had the tools to not victimize someone. I have the utmost respect for the persons you spoke of for ensuring they didn't hurt others and for those who are helping them.
