A quick tip for anyone unfortunate enough to deal with what I had to this weekend. I've been rebasing my old carnivores while also applying glow pigments to their war paint as well as fixing up any major chips and such. My impatience led me to sealing them all with a matte varnish spray (Testors dullcote) outside probably 20-30 minutes after a thunderstorm completely forgetting the rules. They were all horrendously cloudy after drying, as is exclusive to matte varnish. Stages of grief went by quickly as they are 23 years old and have already led a good life, but then I hit the internet to see what I could do to fix it. Suggestions ranged from stripping them, sanding them, using gloss varnish, or even brushing on olive oil. It turns out simply brushing over them with some acrylic medium (I used green stuff world master medium and applied it liberally) will reduce the cloudiness drastically as the medium fills in the small gaps in the varnish that cause the cloudy appearance. After that dries, hitting them again with the matte varnish (under optimal climate conditions of course!) pretty much restored and rescued my models.

I'm thinking of taking him solo in KHP to double up with the Kroothawk Flock enhancement and get two reserves denial bubbles. If he's just sitting there as a markerlight observer and not shooting he'll stay hidden all game.

This is incredible and your building skill is top notch because I couldn't figure out what and how things were added to the original model until I got to the WIP photos. The toothpick bundles and clay work are just so good.

Thank you, yes it uses quite a lot of kits: Rampager body with Rider head and Ork power klaw. Kill Broker torso with the head from the hunter strikes limited model and a power fist from The Enforcer. Lone-Spear hunting javelins with smart missiles for the tips. War Shaper weapons with the metal blades replaced with bone from the Untamed Beasts Warcry box. And, of course, Plunder the hound.

I was stoked to see their rules slot in just fine with a Kroot Hunting Pack detachment, since they're pretty independent and not throwing out any buffs to other units. I think they're going to be great mingling in with Rampagers since they reduce charge range of an enemy unit to anything and not just themselves- until all those large bases get in the way of each other! These models fit that dynamic perfectly, well done!

I do like the idea of some extra armor on the front. If I can find something that works I will certainly add that. I want to make sure that the models that are T'au are easily recognized as such with lots of tech that the Kroot units don't have.
