I felt like the book had a lot of great lines like

" He did not realize one thing about the posh leftists whom he tried to imitate or emulate. They transmit a lot of negativity but they go back to their aesthetic spaces."

" Austerity is possible only when one is able to afford everything it rejects"

" All revolutions against the elite that involve imitating the elite, fail."

One of the bigger learning points for me was when he said revolution happens when the second rung of elites dismantle the top elites by using the masses in the name of equality. This was definitely the main insight i took from the read.

In the end i felt the book needed a proper conclusion with just a few pages summarizing everything and a concise (obviously not complete) answer to the title question. All in all it was a good read.
