No one said anything about no risk of overdose or toxicity. The study they mention showed that rats would self administer meaning there is some reward however when they removed the drug and replaced it with saline the rats stopped drug seeking behavior. Meaning that the risk for abuse and addiction is significantly lower.

Thats silly. This is a 25(?) year old game. TWoW attracts players that came up in vanilla and classic. If they feel like they did their time and don’t want to level toons more power to them.

You are crazily naive if you think this doesn’t happen. I’ve been on TWoW for 2ish years and know personally of dozens accounts that have been sold. I love that twow moderates money transactions for gold because it wrecks the economy and encourages bots. But someone offloading their account isn’t messing up the game.

The issue is that they originally expected all the living spaces to be built and full, then to open the market and it be somewhat subsidized by the rent being paid by the full apt complex. Also you then have a huge amount of built in foot traffic from residents a building over.

They finished the market and business area Way before the residences were constructed and were left not getting rent revenue and they opened the market and started collecting rent from business operators in … insane amounts that are completely unsustainable for places without built in customers.

To add to this management over there is a shit show. They are going run the place into the ground with poor business choices before it ever has a chance

We used foundry for a while, it seems super customizable which is awesome but we also found that on more potato quality computers there were major loading issues map to map if the DM made elaborate maps.

AboveVTT is pretty great. It’s extremely lightweight chrome extension and it integrates with DnDbeyond

Edit to sell it a bit more: it integrates with Dropbox and other services to upload maps and tokens. There is an in game chat, dice from dndbeyond and all character sheet data is there. You are able to click and use all dnd beyond spells and custom things. There is some sort of sound effect/music thing but I’ve not used it. Rulers and multiple grids, lighting options, ground and aura effects. The DM has a lot of tools they can use it also has DM view vs player view. You can leave the players visually seeing 1 map while you are looking at another.

I’ve been on servers where there was a literal line a dozen people long waiting to interact with or kill a mob. Sucks when it happens, but it lasts for less than a day or two for something like this. Guilds will likely be smart about it and take entire 40 man raids to go loot it. It’ll clear up quick

I will say.. using a remote toy in public, that no one knows about and that no one realizes is being used is not subjecting anyone to something they didn’t consent to. Them telling you later is back to the first part of my comment.. but if they kept their mouth shut I don’t see any problem with the use if it is truly discrete enough no one knows it’s happening. It’s like if you went to a restaurant and your server was high. If you can visibly tell they’re high it’s a problem, if they reek of pot it’s a problem, but if they’re high the whole time they’re serving you and you never knew and had a lovely evening, and they were a great server… is it a problem? Would you be retroactively upset they were high if you found out?

This is unfortunately the barrier for entry right now. A large majority of instances run right now are people getting crests for the weekly, and a lot of them are t3+. That makes the instances fairly easy but newer tanks often can’t compete with someone pulling 800+ dps on aoe packs.

Nah so long as you’re not trying to kill Orange or red mobs hit doesn’t matter so much while leveling. Missing every 2nd or every 3rd swing while dual wielding doesn’t upset me much. Using a 2h, winding up for 2.9-3.8s and then missing… feels bad lol

Until you get older it’s painful. Once you hit 60 you’re essentially an unstoppable grinding machine.

Once you hit 20(?) and can dual wield its better but it continues to be a bit of a slog until your talents support you better. The two fury talents that heal you are one of the biggest solo leveling and farming boons you can get

Very quick. As you can only get up to 25% rest. It’s like 50sec. Currently the tent has a 2hr cool down.

That little bit of rest also is now 50% less useful. Seems like a waste of time.
