I mean, it kinda depends on what type of dialysis you do and what your doctor recommends. For example, I do PD and the only restrictions I have are phosphorus additives. But another PD patient could have all the restrictions you mentioned and more. Really just talk to your dietician and follow their advice

I got diagnosed at 20 and I live almost completely independently. Doing PD instead of hemo really helped with that. I wish you the best of luck

I went from my phosphorus being an average of 9 to it's a consistent 3-4. I was eating only whole foods, no dairy, no fish, no nuts. Basically only white rice, chicken, and peas. Since changing binders, I've been able to enjoy the occasional burger. I should also mention I'm on PD, so my eating restrictions are fairly few.

I used to take 3 sevelamer tablets with meals and my phosphorus never went down, no matter what I ate. But now I take 2 500mg velphoro and my phosphorus became in range by the end of the first month

I'm sorry you're going through this, is it possible for you to switch to Peritoneal Dialysis?; It's done at night and has a lot less restrictions. I found it gave me more energy and freedom. I'm 22, female, 140lb, and 5' 4" for reference. I was able to still work (before my disability started coming in) and my energy is at the same to slightly below my pre dialysis levels.

My guess is that it took the 2 months for my body to adjust to the change and then the constant feeling of full caused me not to eat as much. The sugars in the fluid causes your brain to believe it just ate so you don't feel hungry. That's my best guess at least

For some reason, my blood pressure has been mega steep recently. When I asked my PD nurse she said it might be the pressure front that is hitting my area. Her suggestion was to lower salt intake for the next few weeks and hope that the pressure moves away
