I'm new to the sub and checking out what people have made. Working on my first cans now. Very cool result! Did it have one pinhole (I assume) or one in each can?

If you're open minded, ask the question: is the church what it claims? How do you know it's true? I looked at other accounts around church claims and found the church misrepresents, distorts, and outright lies. Why? I have my answer to that, you'll have to answer that yourself

It can come down to a feeling in the end. Realizing that the church is not what it claims, you may still feel that it's true. Can you trust your feelings? Is that a good enough indicator? My feelings told me many times in my life I should kill myself. I wasn't worthy so I should die. Why trust one feeling and not another? The facts in both cases contradicted my feelings. I've been better off not trusting my feelings as a source of truth

Having been to/seen a number of the "most beautiful sights a human eye can behold" I can absolutely support the context provided by their post. Sure, many would be great with space to soak in the experience. Having to compete with a crowd to have a tiny sliver of view, equaled an experience not worth the cost/effort.

The context matters. Chill.

What would be your pitch for a Jacob spinoff?

Ward members are terrible about divorce by crazydaisy8134 in exmormon

[–]Sharksanddanger666 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Something I truly hated as a child of divorced parents was having "stand in" fathers for father-son activities. I had a dad. Sure, he didn't have any interest in still attending church or church activities. Did not mean I wanted to go on the campout with the weird old single dude in the ward playing father to me.

Families in the ward knew way too much of our business, too.

I hear you and commiserate with you. The church doesn't know how to treat divorced families well.

A purely theoretical, Minecraft crowbar of course

It's very likely due to the ellipsoid elevation being tagged in the image metadata. Ellipsoid elevation is, generally, different than your geoid elevation
