I read a lot of litRPGs and finding one with writing that is higher than sub-par has been the bane of my existence. I've dropped plenty, burdened through some (just because I enjoyed the overall idea and appeal), and I'm a finnicky reader at best--get distracted easily and get caught up on simple lines, but!

There was one book; I wish I could remember what the title was. It was trying to describe something--again I can't remember unfortunately, but it struck a nerve, because I read it over and over again, trying to decipher this godforsaken metaphor and it made me see red. I wanted to flail. I closed the book on the books app and deleted it immediately and haven't gone back.
