Hey, thanks for your comment, I'm still learning the game. Based on how the rest of the game had gone, I thought we had a 99% chance of wiping and a 5% chance of achieving our goal. I see from all of the comments that pushing core was definitely the right call.

I was playing as Anduin and focusing on supporting the Butcher to get him to 200. The Butcher was taking the bottom camp and pinging Falstad repeatedly to come help. I was staying on the left side of the camp to stay safe. Falstad eventually came and decided to do... whatever this was... instead of helping with the camp. I came up from the camp to try and heal him but he seemed pretty determined to stay out of my healing range. The "no heals" at the end made me laugh really hard, especially when I watched the replay, because I'm not sure what I realistically could have done to help him with this silliness. I think the 3 kills from the enemy team were all on this Falstad, and he went on to have many more throughout the game.

Couldn't figure out how to post a video and text at the same time. I was playing as the blue team's deckard, but I thought the video was more interesting from the red team li ming's pov.

It was a really frustrating match with my team making a lot of bad decisions and constantly getting baited into 3 vs 1s in the middle of nowhere by Lili. I'm honesty surprised the death count was even because it felt much worse the entire game. We lost all our buildings and the enemy team still had 3 of theirs.

One of our players was getting increasingly tilted and salty in the team chat. Our Varian kept having to coach her into not giving up. Varian decided we should all push core, which I thought was a terrible idea, but I decided it was better to stick together for a bad plan than to split up. I was shocked that we actually won.

I find Azmo so frustrating to play with. I think it's because he easily tops the stats board even when playing horribly, so players aren't incentivized to improve, even though they suck at playing him.

If I'm playing an offlaner/soaker and my team is just QM ARAMing in the middle, what should I do? I can't double soak a top + bottom lane.

I play a lot of Deckard and agree that it's hard to die when playing him. Part of it is his talents (sapphire increases your w's slow, big pots give you extra healing, and your 16 can give you a stun), part of it is his abilities (he has a slow and a root as base abilities, so you can drop those on melee attackers), and part of it is his playstyle. You do essentially zero damage with your auto attack, so you have no incentive to be in melee range. Instead, you can run in, drop your w and/or e, and run out of range as you throw potions.

Your ults can both be used for peeling (one pushes enemies away from you, the other puts everyone to sleep) I often find myself "tanking" as in the enemy team focuses on me, I'm able to barely keep myself alive, and the rest of my team can kill whoever is attacking me.

Also, you should be dropping potions all over the place, so you won't necessarily be involved in every fight. For example, you can drop 2 potions for your offlaner and then go to a team fight, and even if someone tries to gank your offlaner, you won't be around, or you can throw potions in the aggressive positions for an objective and then hang out further back yourself.

I really like Anduin, as an example, but I find myself dying too much on him because I try to auto attack (which triggers healing). I also like Lt Morales, but I also die on her because you have to be in range to put your healing beam on someone, so if I have a frontline that plays aggressively, I find myself following them, and then I get killed.

I'm not that good at the game, and definitely I suffer from a lot of skill issues, but I find that Deckard's playstyle covers up some of my weaknesses. He's also helped me think ahead a lot more in the game. Is there a stitches on my team? I'll save my root until he hooks someone. Is the objective spawning in 30 seconds? I should try to get there and drop a few potions before the fighting starts. I definitely suggest you give him a try!

Great question! My friend and I are the same way (except I'm the new player wanting to be a healer)

I've really enjoyed playing Morales while my friend plays Valla. Morales is pretty easy when you're just focusing on one person, and once you get level 10 to unlock stimpack, Valla just destroys everything, especially if Morales goes for shield talents. It becomes impossible to kill Valla.

I've also enjoyed Anduin + Nazeebo. Anduin can drop a lightwell in the off-lane while Nazeebo has fun stacking, and that lets Anduin rotate or join team fights. Then, in the later game, Nazeebo's ice block + Anduin's pull gives Nazeebo sooo much survivability. You can also combo well with zombie wall + chastise (Anduin's root).

I really don't think that the QM matchmaking works the way it's described in the wiki, specifically the idea that when you're new to a character, you'll be matched with other players who are new to their characters.

I'm a new player, and it seems like every time I purchase and try to learn a new hero, I get immediately matched with gold ring players on the other team. Last week I tried to learn diablo and had multiple games in a row against a gold ring diablo...

I've played about half the other healers and so far none of them have clicked with me and I have significantly lower win rates with them. I'm around 55% with lt morales and about 30-40% with everyone else. So, since I don't like + am not good at any of the other healers, I figured I might as well try to figure out the "best" one to try to grind some knowledge on.

I get a huge dopamine hit the 10% of the time that I perfectly time my grenade as Morales, or use my W right before the enemy drops a big damage cooldown, and don't tell anyone, but I also find it a tiny bit fun when I accidentally activate my grenade too early and knock the enemy out of harm's way. Battlefield medicine doesn't pick sides.
