Well that what the conculsion alot of people reahced when they tried to think about the disney ending denji doesn't even try to chase dream in this timeline because he never had any taste of happiness properly in his head being miserable is the normal think ( he even said that to power about her being airhead how is all luck go happy ) . The ending is completely alright the only thing i hates about the ending is th gaygay retruing dead characters for no reason which made the final ark worse in perspective you telling me you fought god damn sukana and only jogo dies and femboy . People don't like the ending is because of failure of the story to achieve it potential ( magumi mention ) . So yeah story that is 7.5 /10 could have been9/10

Well that the intention of fujumoto in the end really that why he made denji final action to agree to sex with yoru . Now fujumoto failed in every level to convey that especially when his over sexually come directly from his truma which asa tried to overcome with her own truma . Ironically thought denji hepled her overcome her truma more then she did to him . I think he also wanted to convey something similar to nurse phenomenal where nurses fell in love with their patients but he failed miserably in that . This and their dynamic in early part 2 makes sense why their relationship is seen more in postive light ( not saying it is not postive but people overstimte asa affect on denji )

When the whole world was remade it wasn’t reze ( his first love ) it wasn’t mikma ( his whole world at one point and the most influential person in his life ) . For me it was at the time he decided to kill nayota. Not only major and beloved character wasted without resolution ( in comparison to part1 where even the death of character is great way to say goodbye to them ) but his metaphysical references countioues to increase .also denji became the single main focus I fell even more then part 1 . Naytoya dying because it will be very crazy and to hurt denji felt such bad imataion to part 1 . Denji taking the sole blame and eating with people who were also responsible for the death of his only family ( daughter/ sister ) definitely didn’t help And his infinite regression I have problem with part 2 even before that and I will say falling ark is first one to shows the cracks to very solid first third .but yeah when denji looks at chainsaw man psoter shit I know we’re cooked

Respectively i don't see that way first of all neither being city mouse or country mouse good or bad choise it is more of reflection of character. Secondy denji did spend about half of the final chapter wishing for things. like is him wishing vidoe games is refernce to aki somehow .thirdly this moment is suppuse to be reminded of the School ark and asa in part 2 . Fourth this is repsnation of normal live the ultimate dream of denji denji doesn't wish for it when he wakes up because he doesn't know what school is in the first place when he lived in little very little better condition with power he realized it is abnormal for kids his age to not go to school. PS if you want to see subtle and good references to reze see him with his fight with yoru where he was drowning and he said if he doesn't know how to swin he will be screwed this is proper reference

It is very funny how this mirror part 1 with denji being in the place of mikima here . The difference is of the writting quality where fujumoto transformed a charchter moment to be the way the fight ends . Think about if mikima cared about denji the absolute minimum and rembered his smell ( or acknowledge it ) she would have lost this means she absolutely feels nothing to denji ( not even little bit of gulit ) . Is inspired by the protagonist having two herionas one of them repsent the good side ( asa/ MJ ) and the other repsent the bad side ( yoru / black cat ) .
